Nourishing the liver can be done at four acupoints: Rou, Ganshu, Taichong and Taixi.
Ganshu point

Operation method: When massaging, put the palm of your hand at Qimen point and rub it back and forth along the ribs, with local redness and fever as the degree, and massage for 3-5 minutes.
Function: Qimen point is the recruitment point of the liver, and Ganshu point is the back point of the liver, which is an important point for liver qi perfusion in the chest and back. The combination of the two can play the role of soothing the liver, regulating qi, nourishing the liver and softening the liver.
Taichong point
Acupoint selection method: Sit upright in a standing or supine position, between the first metatarsal bone and the second metatarsal bone on the dorsum of the foot, and take the acupoints at the outer edge of the extensor pollicis brevis tendon in front of the metatarsal joint.
The patient takes a posture of sitting up straight or lying on his back, and Taichong point is located at the back of the foot, that is, at the posterior depression of 1 metatarsal space (at the metatarsal joints of the first and second toes). This is the point where your finger presses up along the gap between the big toe and the second toe until you can feel the artery reflect your hand.

Taixi point

Function: Taixi point is the original point of kidney meridian, which can cultivate the vitality of tonifying kidney. Chinese medicine says that liver and kidney are homologous, liver belongs to wood, kidney belongs to water, and water can contain wood. Pressing Taichong and Taixi points can nourish water and wood, and nourish kidney and liver.
