Foreword:

What is tea and why did the ancients admire it?

Let's start with the understanding of tea by most people: "Treating tea as a thirst-quenching drink is just a little better than water, which seems to be on the same level as coffee, cola and fruit juice." But the ancients used tea to detoxify, cure diseases and even save lives at critical moments. I'm not talking nonsense about this. It's documented.

The earliest record of tea was more than 5,000 years ago. Shennong's "Materia Medica" recorded: "Shennong tasted a hundred herbs and got rid of it when he encountered 72 poisons every day." This shows a very important point: tea was first used to detoxify. "Seventy-two poisons" means a lot of poisons. After eating tea, the toxicity was completely solved, and the importance of tea at that time can be imagined.

Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica said: Tea is frivolous, and buds and leaves are in bud when picking tea, and the spring is full. Although the taste is bitter and the gas is thin, it is the yang in the yin, which can rise or fall. There are several messages revealed in this. First, the first tea picked in spring (frivolous) is clear and full of flavor. Second, although the tea is cloudy, the tea harvested at this time is in balance of yin and yang. (Yang in Yin involves the problems of Yin and Yang and the five elements. Chinese medicine believes that spring and summer belong to yang, and autumn and winter belong to yin. ...... "Can go up and down." It shows that all the five internal organs of the human body can reach tea and play a comprehensive role, so it has certain preventive and therapeutic effects on many diseases. )

In the eyes of China people, many things are not good or bad, only suitable or not. For example, people who are dying can eat ginseng to supplement their innate vitality, but some people will have nosebleeds after eating it, because it is too tonic and their bodies don't need so much food energy. Therefore, many foods are medicine when used correctly, and poison when used wrongly.

Tea man's heart:

Time flies, before I know it, my tea age is 10 years. I think I started drinking tea just to stay healthy, and now my mind has improved a lot. Think about it later: looking for tea in the mountains, making tea by hand, choosing the place to hide tea, making tea by heart ... There are too many stories and too many ups and downs. You need to tell tea lovers in series ...

For example, the process of making tea is to "enjoy dry tea, moisten tea, brew and drink". There are many factors that affect the taste of tea: water temperature, tea set and tea-water ratio, which are relatively intuitive. For example, the mood of tea makers and tea drinkers, the surrounding environment, gas field ... these will also affect the taste and somatosensory of tea soup. I used to think these were too mysterious, but now I really think: "Tea is not deceptive, and you will get as much feedback as you pay." A cup of tea can tell your state at the moment', so the ancients said that' tea can cultivate one's morality', which is true.

There may be many shortcomings in the course, so I hope you can make more suggestions.

Our series of courses has several purposes.

The first is to sort out the characteristics of tea drinking in different dynasties (influenced by political power, religion and daily life)

The second one is: Yin and Yang in the six major teas (what kind of tea do you drink? )

The third is: the brewing methods of various teas (water, utensils, people and environment). ......
