Taoist Neidan pays attention to getting through the big and small Sundays. For example, according to Chen Jianmin and other tantric gurus, getting through the second pulse of Ren Du is to cultivate heaven.
Taoism itself also talks about rising to immortality by day.
The pulse science of Buddhism is different from the pulse science of Taoism and the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine. In recent years, scientific experimenters have discovered the existence of meridians, but the pulse condition may depend on the color optics of human gas field and so on.
The pulse condition is more subtle, which is subtle compared with our four harmonious bodies of five aggregates. Pulse conditions include pulse conditions and bright spots, as well as the flow of qi (energy). There are 72,000 pulses, the most important ones are left, middle and right. The knots of the three veins are chakras, and the most important ones are the top pulse, throat pulse, heart pulse and umbilical pulse. Then the encrypted chakras are divided into five rounds, and of course there are more subdivisions.
Pulse only involves the supreme secret of Buddhism, and the systematic practice is perfect. Generally speaking, its purpose is to make the qi in the body enter and activate into the midvein through wind yoga or fire yoga, simulate the three things of death, middle and life, produce four empty and four happy things, give birth to a phantom body, prove a bright heart, and then realize the Buddha through their double luck.
So it's totally different from Taoism or Qigong.
