Mother of traditional Chinese medicine talks about children's massage acupoint: Fengfu point
Fengfu-the first point to dispel wind

Positioning acupuncture: located on the posterior midline, above the posterior hairline 1 inch (the width of a finger on the posterior hairline), as shown above.

The inch here does not refer to the inch of the length unit we often say, but refers to the length determined according to our own length as mentioned by Chinese medicine. Just like people are tall and short, such as Yao Ming. If a person is tall, his inch is longer than ours, and the child's inch is shorter than ours. Simple positioning method generally has three reference standards. The first criterion is 1 inch: the width of our thumb is 1 inch; Or the length of the tip of the index finger is 1 inch. The second is the standard of 2 inches: the length of the first two sections of the index finger is 2 inches, which is the easiest to see. The third is the standard of 3 inches: the total width of the middle part is 3 inches after the four fingers are close together. Another way to locate is to segment your bones according to their length. For example, my arm is 12 inch from wrist joint to elbow joint. What does that mean? It means to divide the forearm into 12 equal parts, each equal part is one inch. This method will be more standardized in acupoint selection. This is the concept of consistent size, so don't confuse it with size. This is also a unique concept of Chinese medicine, and the dimensions mentioned in future lectures are all the same size.

Indications: dispelling pathogenic wind, relieving exterior syndrome, refreshing brain and inducing resuscitation.

Mechanism of action: Fengfu point belongs to Du meridian, which has the power of inducing rise and diverging upward and outward, mainly to dredge the stagnation of headrest and neck. Where does the general wind invade the human body? The human body is more likely to feel the common cold at Fengfu point and Fengchi point next to it. The wind pool and the wind house are at the same height, and the wind-cold qi basically invades the human body from these places first. What does it feel like to catch a cold when the wind blows? Do you feel that the muscles in this position of Fengchi Fengfu are very tight, and you have to shrink your neck, and you feel that your whole head is paralyzed. Both Fengfu point and Fengchi point have the effect of expelling wind. We massage acupoints in order to open the stasis caused by cold and let qi reach the top of the head normally. After the gas goes up, you can clean up the turbid gas inside (because the brain is constantly metabolizing and constantly producing new waste, that is, turbid gas), and your head will be more relaxed. This process is called dispelling wind and relieving exterior syndrome, and it is also a term of Chinese medicine. After the explanation, people will feel more relaxed and sober, so it also has the function of refreshing and enlightening. Ignorance means that there are holes in our body, such as eyes, ears, nose and throat, which are all ignorance, including your god, and it is also an ignorance.

One of the great advantages of this acupoint is that there is no specific difference between cold and heat, that is, wind-heat, wind-cold, and rheumatism (but dampness generally does not go up to the end, and rheumatism generally goes down), as long as it is hooked by the wind, it will have an effect. Its functional position is the position of the head and neck. When your feet don't hurt, find this place to evacuate, and the effect is definitely not so good. Although in theory there should be some effect. To put it simply, the local effect of massaging acupoints is the most obvious, especially for children. When you rub these acupoints, sweat will soon flow out. If you cooperate with the above actions, such as opening the heaven, pushing the palace and rubbing the sun, the effect will be better.

The student asked: Can this acupoint be used for coughing?

Answer: If you feel a cough caused by a common cold, you can use it. If it were not for this reason, the effect would not be obvious.

The student asked: What about coughing this season? Does it work?

A: Now this season is autumn, and the atmosphere in autumn is declining. Cough is generally caused by the decline of qi activity. At this time, the effect of ascending therapy is not obvious. ?

The student asked: Why do you want to moisten the lungs and clear the lungs in autumn?

A: Because it is dominated by the trend of qi in this season. If your cough is caused by a cold, just use this acupoint.

Therefore, to treat diseases, we must first make clear the direction of qi and blood operation. For example, after coughing, which direction of qi and blood running is wrong? If it is blocked by the cold, the road to the outside is blocked. We just need to open the road to the outside, that is, open it with the power of the wind house and spread it upward and outward. Autumn cough is mostly dry cough, which is caused by dryness and heat. At this time, if you exclude the factor of feeling cold, you need to use the acupuncture points in front of your body, so the effect will be better. When we say that Fengfu point is an important point to dispel wind, we mean to dredge the stasis in the neck and make Yang Qi upward. This kind of Yang Qi is called Qingyang. Only when the clear gas is led up can the turbid gas come down. Turbid gas comes down because of the promotion of clear gas, and Fengfu point itself has no power to reduce turbid gas.

Operation method: kneading method (refers to kneading method) means that kneading method has stronger penetration. There is also a rubbing method, which is generally rubbed with thenar (the little finger side of the palm). Because there is hair in this place, you don't need to put talcum powder or BB oil, just rub it directly until it burns locally. If the cold makes you uncomfortable, you can also rub it yourself.

The student asked: Can you cooperate with the hot compress method?

A: Yes, hot water bag, infrared light, moxibustion, etc. I generally prefer moxibustion, because moxibustion has strong penetrating power and can reach deeper places, and the moxa stick itself has the function of dredging meridians. Coupled with fire, the dredging power will be stronger. As shown in figure 16:32, moxibustion with this walkman is very effective as long as it can sweat. In fact, our purpose is not to say which method is necessary. Our purpose is to dredge the stagnant meridians and solve the causes of siltation, and any method can be used.

Students ask: Is walking moxibustion more powerful or hanging moxibustion more powerful?

A: The power of hanging moxibustion directly is stronger than walking moxibustion, and walking moxibustion is a milder method. Children prefer to move. If hanging moxibustion is used, it may be easy to burn children, so walking moxibustion is safer. Generally, moxibustion burns slowly, and moxa stick moxibustion will recover faster. However, often after the child is burned, you will not continue to bake for him, and the child will not dare to bake for you. So once it is burned, it will be more troublesome to handle. I still recommend walking moxibustion for children, which is simple, safe and effective.

The student asked: Why did you say that moxibustion was forbidden in ancient Fengfu?

A: In the past, people were mostly dry because of diet, nutrition, labor and other factors. Moxibustion at Fengfu point is easier to mobilize the atmosphere. But now people's physique has changed obviously, and they are basically cold and wet. Fengfu moxibustion is more helpful to dispel wind and remove dampness.

Clinical application:

1, symptoms caused by external factors. This symptom is not only a headache, because it also has an enlightening effect, so problems including eyes, nose and throat can be solved.

2. Various symptoms of the head. This is a bit repetitive, but it is just to show that it is not necessarily aimed at symptoms caused by external factors, but also at headaches caused by all other reasons. Including nose problems, you can also use it to treat rhinitis, for example, it has a cosmetic effect.

Student asked: How long does it usually take to do moxibustion?

A: It varies from person to person. Adults usually spend half an hour. For children, such as my little daughter, who is over 1 year old, moxibustion can generally last for about 5 minutes, with an increase of 5 minutes for every 1 year old.

3. Enlightening wisdom is to make children smarter, which is a health care method. I didn't use it as a health care method. The book records that vibration is generally used.

The student asked: Can I use it if I am a child with cerebral palsy?

A: Yes, the symptoms of cerebral palsy also have symptoms of the head. ?
