Huilong Bridge in Shaoxing, Zhejiang
Huilong Bridge is located at 1.5km outside Xiguanmen, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is a covered bridge parallel to the canal. The length of the bridge is10m, the width is 4m and the height is 3m. There are stone pillars on the bridge. This beam bridge is a stepped flat beam bridge. Dozens of stone steps are placed on the east and west sides of the bridge. These stone steps are steps with a flat beam in the middle for ships to pass under. Huilong Bridge is also a covered bridge in structure, that is, from half a step, stone pillars are placed, two columns are placed at both ends of the flat beam bridge in the middle, and four stone pillars are covered with bricks, so that the bridge becomes a corridor, which can shelter from the rain and shade the sun and rest. Jiaqing's "Shanyin County Records" contains: Guaxian Bridge is back to Dragon Bridge. The hanging bridge is recorded in Jiatai Huiji. This shows that there was Huilong Bridge in Jiatai in Song Dynasty.
