Mentha haplocalyx or Mentha genus belongs to Labiatae and contains about 15 to 20 kinds of plants, including Mentha haplocalyx and spearmint. Mint is a mixture of spearmint and mint, so it is very similar. Mint contains more menthol, so it has stronger smell, darker color and less hair than spearmint. The leaves contain flavonoid glycosides, Leymus chinensis glycosides, luteolin 7-o- rutin, hesperidin, isoflavones, dioscin, Leymus chinensis 7-o- glucoside, pomelo rutin and so on. And rosmarinic acid, azulene, choline, carotene, etc.
