How about drinking beer?
Many people like beer now, but not many people really drink it. For this reason, the reporter interviewed Suoying, a member of the Capital Society of Health Care, Nutrition and Gourmet and a nutritionist in xuanwu hospital of Capital Medical University, and discussed the nutritional value of beer and how to drink it scientifically.

Reporter: Director Suo, please talk about the health benefits of drinking beer from the perspective of nutrition.

Suoying: Beer has 400 kilocalories per liter, half of which comes from alcohol and half from sugar. One liter of beer is equivalent to 200 grams of bread or 500 grams of potatoes or 45 grams of vegetable oil. Therefore, beer is called "liquid bread" Each liter of beer contains 40 grams of protein and 0/7 kinds of amino acids/kloc-,with a total amount of 2.03 grams/liter. Beer contains inorganic salts such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, chromium, zinc and selenium, and also contains vitamin B 1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, nicotinic acid, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid and vitamin B 12. However, the ratio of vitamin B 1 to pantothenic acid is very low. If you drink a lot of beer and don't eat other foods rich in vitamin B, such as liver, beef, chicken, soybean, bean products, peanuts, etc., it will aggravate the lack of vitamin B 1 and pantothenic acid.

Vitamin B2 in beer is very rich, with 0.3 mg ~ 1.3 mg per liter. Vitamin B2 can not only prevent and treat lip inflammation, but also improve the brightness of eyes and promote milk secretion. Folic acid has the effects of promoting erythropoiesis and anti-anemia. Selenium in beer can increase the antibody content in blood, zinc can increase appetite, and chromium can promote the utilization of carbohydrates in the body.

Although beer is only about 4 degrees, it belongs to alcoholic beverages and should not be drunk too much. Because beer is metabolized quickly in the human body, it is easy to make people fat. Some people often drink a lot of beer and their bellies get bigger, commonly known as "beer bellies". Excessive drinking of beer will also destroy cell function and cause ethanol poisoning. Drinking a lot of beer often leads to water loss, because alcohol will aggravate urine and sodium will be excreted with urine. Alkaline food should be taken to supplement sodium intake. According to the American research report, the maximum amount of alcohol for men who like drinking is 30 grams per month, and for women it is 20 grams. It is best to drink at the table, and the amount of each meal does not exceed 500 ml. Long-term heavy drinking will damage gastrointestinal mucosa.

The quality of beer mainly depends on color, taste, aroma and foam durability.

Color is the most important index of beer quality. General beer is divided into three categories: light beer, strong beer and dark beer, which are required to be clear and transparent without suspended matter. China produces the most light beer, which is divided into yellow, golden yellow and brown.

Beer has different colors, smells and tastes. Light beer has outstanding aroma and refreshing taste. Strong color beer and dark beer malt have outstanding aroma and mellow taste.

Foam is an important criterion for testing beer quality. Foam has three characteristics, one is foamability, the other is durability and the third is adhesion. Foamability means that when pouring into a cup, there should be 1/3~ 1/2 foam floating on it, and the foam should be delicate and creamy. Persistence means a long stay. Adhesion refers to the situation of hanging cups. The more residue, the stronger the adhesion. In addition, the hygienic index of beer should meet the requirements.
