How to decorate a single apartment?
This group of works recommended to you today comes from certified designer @ Mattchen-Luta Luta studio.

The owner is a young lawyer who lives alone and loves drama and music after his rigorous work. Designer @ Mattchen-Luta Luta Studio is inspired by men's fashion magazines to create a fashionable and stylish home for single men.

Because the owner lives alone, the space of the dining room area is wasted for those who live alone, so the designer weakened the function of the dining room, changed the dining area to a balcony, and distributed the original dining room area equally to the bathroom and living room, optimizing the layout of the four spaces of the porch, bedroom, bathroom and living room at one time. In addition, because the owner seldom uses the kitchen, the refrigerator originally placed in the kitchen is moved to the living room side and embedded in the wall to provide drinks and food for the living room area, which is more convenient to use.

Let's have a look!

The following pictures/descriptions are from certified designer "matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio".

Housing information

Unit type? 1 room

Use area? 55 ㎡

Where is the house? Haidian, Beijing

Original plan

The original layout mainly has the following problems:

1, the living room is deep and the bedroom is cramped;

2. The space in the dining area is wasted for people who live alone;

3. The entrance of the bedroom is similar to the entrance of the kitchen and bathroom, lacking an independent sense of entrance;

4, the bathroom space is small, and it is impossible to separate dry and wet;

5. Insufficient storage space.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: Based on the current situation of the house and the needs of the owners, we have made the following adjustments to the layout of the house:

1. Move the original bathroom to the depth of the living room to make the width and depth of the living room more reasonable than the example;

2. Set up a bookshelf system in the corridor area to increase the storage space and hide the exposed radiators;

3. Changing the original bathroom location to the front area of the bedroom enhances the sense of sequence of the bedroom and provides storage space;

4. Use the tables and chairs placed on the balcony to meet the dining needs.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The pattern of the porch area has not changed much, but the door facing the welcome is no longer a closed kitchen door and bathroom door.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: In order to introduce the north-facing skylight into the room from life balcony, the kitchen is separated by glass, so that the light environment of the porch is optimized and will not be too blocked.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: Through the adjustment of the bathroom, the original bathroom has become the preface hall of the bedroom, which is mainly used to improve the level of space and increase the storage space here.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The owner prefers dark colors, so he used black malay paint paint on the TV wall to enhance the texture of the black wall.

▲ @matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The continuous long TV cabinet is made of black walnut, which also hopes to add some exquisiteness to the dark roughness.

▲ @matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The original ceiling of the house in the living room area was uneven, and even there was an error in inclination, so a thin ceiling was made for leveling, and the track of spotlights was embedded, which weakened the sense of clutter brought by the equipment. The owner seldom uses the kitchen, and the refrigerator is moved to the living room side and embedded in the wall, mainly providing drinks and food for the living room area.

▲ @matt-Luta Luta studio: A pot of lush banyan leaves was placed in the corner of the balcony.

▲ @matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The owner doesn't often use the kitchen, but because the location of the kitchen is difficult to connect with the living space, the kitchen is still closed in the plan, the wall tiles are made of black mosaic, and the entrance door is made of dark gray felt to satisfy the owner's love for dark colors.

▲ @matt-Luta Luta Studio: The partition wall between the bathroom and the living room has always been borrowed from each other. A mini refrigerator is embedded under the black marble countertop, and toilet toiletries are left above the countertop. The bathroom and living room are separated by glass, and venetian blinds can add some mysterious atmosphere.

▲ @matt-Luta Luta Studio: The bathroom walls and floors are all black herringbone mosaic tiles.

▲ @matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The door of the bedroom adopts a custom revolving door with a larger size, which can be different from the conventional wooden door and is more fresh. The transparent glass door also allows the bedroom lobby to communicate well with the bedroom, and because of the existence of the lobby, the insecurity of the glass door is eliminated.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta studio: The choice of soft clothes is mainly dark and cool.

▲ @matt mattchen-Luta Luta Studio: You can also put your favorite collection on the wardrobe.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The wooden floor rolls up the dado to make the functional balcony and the living room more connected. The master's desk and dining table are placed in this big balcony.

▲@ matt Chen-Luta Luta Studio: The balcony is the best lighting area, with desks and dining tables and chairs. The owner can read, work or have a drink with friends by the window.

▲ @matt-Luta Luta Studio: Originally, the door of the bedroom was facing the end of the corridor. Now there is a recess in this place, which has become the end of the line of sight.

▲ @matt Mattchen-Luta Luta Studio: Put your favorite exhibits in the recess. For example, a pot of plants and a glass-headed spectacle frame.
