Liaoning University of Petrochemical Technology, located in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is a multi-disciplinary provincial-level key university characterized by petroleum and petrochemicals, with eight disciplines of engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law, teaching and art developing in a coordinated way. Liaoning Province has established a university with PetroChina, Sinopec and CNOOC to build a first-class discipline (Class A) in Liaoning Province.
"Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of pilot schools of Emergency Management College, scholarship receiving institutions of China government for overseas students, undergraduate training base for talents in short supply in petrochemical industry in Liaoning Province, basic training base for high-level talents of ethnic minorities and undergraduate preparatory training base for ethnic minorities determined by the Ministry of Education, KAB entrepreneurship education base for college students and KAB entrepreneurship club universities determined by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.
Founded in 1950, the school is the first petroleum industry school in new China. /kloc-moved to Fushun to run a school in 0/953, and was later named Fushun Petroleum School; 1958 upgraded to Fushun petroleum institute; 1970 was renamed Fushun institute of chemical technology; Fushun Petroleum Institute was established in1980; In February 2002, it was renamed Liaoning University of Petrochemical Technology. In 2007, the school accepted the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education and achieved excellent results. 20 10 in March, the people's government of Liaoning Province signed an agreement with PetroChina, Sinopec and CNOOC to jointly build a school.
