Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 In order to ensure the smooth progress of undergraduate enrollment in our university and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of candidates, the Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and other relevant laws, the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the Articles of Association of Nanjing University, in combination with the actual situation of undergraduate enrollment in our university.
Article 2 The undergraduate enrollment work of our school implements the "Sunshine Project", adheres to the principle of "fairness, justice, comprehensive measurement, comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission", and selects and enrolls outstanding students suitable for the talent cultivation characteristics of our school.
Article 3 Undergraduate enrollment in our school is subject to the supervision of discipline inspection and supervision departments, candidates, parents, news media and all sectors of society.
Chapter II Organizational Structure
Article 4 The school shall set up an undergraduate enrollment committee, which is the decision-making and management body of our school's undergraduate enrollment work, determine the overall thinking and objectives of undergraduate enrollment work, review the policies, plans and admission principles of undergraduate enrollment, discuss and decide major issues of undergraduate enrollment, and guide undergraduate enrollment work.
Article 5 The school shall set up a leading group for undergraduate enrollment, which shall be responsible for formulating the enrollment charter, compiling the enrollment plan, determining the selection scheme, determining the admission criteria, and reviewing the admission results and other specific matters of undergraduate enrollment according to the authorization of the undergraduate enrollment working committee.
Article 6 The Undergraduate Admissions Office (hereinafter referred to as the Undergraduate Admissions Office) is the permanent institution of the school to organize and implement the undergraduate enrollment work, and is specifically responsible for the daily work of ordinary undergraduate enrollment.
Article 7 The Undergraduate Admissions Office shall set up enrollment working groups in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) as required. The enrollment working groups are responsible for the consultation and publicity of enrollment policies and enrollment work in the region, and assist the undergraduate enrollment office to do a good job in the enrollment work in the area under its responsibility. The head of the enrollment working group is appointed by the school.
Article 8 The discipline inspection and supervision department of the school is responsible for supervising the implementation of various policies and regulations on undergraduate enrollment.
Chapter III Enrollment Plan
Article 9 According to the general idea of building a new system of first-class undergraduate education and high-level innovative talents training in our school, in 2020, our school will continue to implement the enrollment mode of combining majors with disciplines (hereinafter referred to as "majors"), and plans to recruit 3,350 full-time undergraduate students nationwide. Our school will optimize the specialty category setting according to the needs of running a school. For details of the enrollment major and the diversion direction in 2020, please refer to the Catalogue of Undergraduate Admissions Major (Category) of Nanjing University (2020) published by our school.
Article 10 According to the spirit of the relevant documents of the state and the Ministry of Education, combined with the actual situation of the school's talent training objectives and school conditions, our school has made overall consideration of the number of candidates in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), the quality of students, the continuity of plans over the years, the coordinated development of regions and other factors, and determined enrollment plans by provinces, which will be announced to the public after being reported to the Ministry of Education for approval by provincial enrollment institutions.
Article 11 According to the spirit of the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education, our school has made a reservation plan according to 1% of the total annual undergraduate enrollment plan of the school, which is used to adjust the imbalance of students on the online entrance examination in various places.
Chapter IV Access Rules
Article 12 The undergraduate enrollment in our school follows the admission system of "the school is responsible and the recruitment office supervises" stipulated by the Ministry of Education, and is organized and implemented by the enrollment departments of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) under the leadership of the Ministry of Education.
Article 13 Our school enrolls students according to literature and history, science and engineering, and art. The comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination is implemented according to the policies of the local enrollment authorities.
Article 14 The undergraduate enrollment of our university is implemented by computer remote online admission, and the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) determine the transfer ratio or score line according to the candidates' application. According to parallel volunteer's filing batches, the ratio of file transfer shall not exceed 105% in principle. Voluntarily file in turn according to batches, and the file transfer ratio shall not exceed 120% in principle. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region shall file according to the principle of giving priority to scores and implement the relevant provisions of the local education entrance examination center.
Article 15 Our school can accept candidates who are not the first choice or openly solicit volunteers when the number of admission control scores in the same batch is insufficient. However, the number of transfers (including soliciting volunteers) does not exceed the number of remaining plans in our school batch, and only the majors with vacancies can be admitted. If the number of students is still insufficient, our school will allocate the remaining enrollment plans to provinces with sufficient students.
Sixteenth our school only recognizes the national policy points stipulated by the Ministry of Education when shifting gears; If the same candidate has more than one policy plus points, only the highest score will be taken, and the plus points shall not exceed 20 points. All college entrance examination plus points and scores shall not be used for enrollment projects that do not arrange provincial and professional enrollment plans.
Article 17 Our school will give priority to candidates' achievements in entering the college, and make professional admission according to the actual results of the college entrance examination (excluding policy points), without setting professional grades. When the actual results are the same, they will be admitted according to the rankings provided by the admissions departments of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government). If no ranking is provided, the candidates of literature and history will compare the scores of Chinese, English and mathematics in turn, and the candidates of science and engineering and comprehensive reform will compare the scores of mathematics, Chinese and English in turn. Candidates who implement the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination in provinces need to meet the requirements of filling in professional elective subjects.
Article 18 Admission methods of our school include strong foundation plan, foreign language students walking, comprehensive evaluation admission, high-level art troupe, high-level sports team and art major. All of them are implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Education, the admissions departments of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), our school's enrollment brochures for related categories this year, and the adjustment plan announced due to the epidemic.
Our national special plan and incentive plan for rural and poverty-stricken areas, ethnic classes, Xinjiang high school classes in the mainland, Tibetan classes in the mainland, overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students enroll students in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and our relevant enrollment methods.
Article 19 there is no requirement for the proportion of male and female students in the admission of various majors in our school. After entering the school, students of other majors, except foreign languages and literature, must pass the English courses and degree English exams stipulated in the teaching plan. Non-English language candidates are advised to apply carefully.
Article 20 Except for the special type of early admission arranged in Article 18, our school can only participate in the selection of experimental classes organized by the relevant departments of enrollment specialty after enrolling candidates in some provinces in advance. Among them, those who are admitted to a large category will be limited to confirming their majors in the first academic year, and the majors can be adjusted according to relevant regulations after the second academic year; If you are admitted to a major, you can adjust the admission major according to relevant regulations after the end of the second academic year.
Article 21 Our school also implements the following regulations for candidates in Jiangsu Province: The minimum requirement for the first batch of candidates to apply for the high school level examination is AA, and if the candidates reach A+ in both elective subjects, they will be admitted to this major with 3 points. The minimum requirements of two optional subjects for applying for the advanced high school level examination are history A or physics A, and the other is B. The minimum requirements of the two optional subjects are strong foundation plan, incentive plan, comprehensive evaluation admission, high-level art troupe, high-level sports team and art professional qualification candidates, which are implemented according to this year's enrollment brochure of our school.
Article 22 Our school uses the comprehensive quality files of students in the pilot provinces of comprehensive reform of college entrance examination as follows: as a reference for the qualification examination of special types of enrollment, as a reference for the interview of the strong foundation plan, and as a reference for the adjustment of candidates' professional volunteers in the general college entrance examination.
Chapter V Fees and Scholarship Measures
Article 23 Our school implements the credit system charging policy according to the relevant regulations of the state and Jiangsu Province. When freshmen enter the school, they will receive tuition fees in advance according to the academic year charging standard of their major, and then according to the credit system charging standard corresponding to the admission major, and the tuition fees will be settled according to the academic year. Accommodation fee is 65438 yuan +0200/ year.
Article 24 Our school promises not to let any student drop out of school because of family financial difficulties, and actively helps students complete their studies through scholarships, grants, national student loans, work-study programs, temporary difficulties subsidies, tuition and miscellaneous fees reduction, and green channels for students with family financial difficulties to enter school. Freshmen admitted to our school, such as the national poverty alleviation project, who have financial difficulties may apply for a special grant of 5000 yuan before entering school.
Chapter VI Supplementary Provisions
Article 25 Our school's requirements for candidates' physical health shall be implemented in accordance with the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities (J [2019] No.3) and relevant supplementary regulations formulated by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the China Disabled Persons' Federation.
Article 26 After new students enter the school, our school will carry out the re-examination and physical examination of new students' admission qualifications in accordance with the national enrollment policy and school registration management regulations. For freshmen enrolled in special types of enrollment, an expert group will be organized to carry out re-examination and review of enrollment majors. Candidates who are found to have taken the test in violation of regulations, admitted in violation of regulations, admitted under false pretenses, etc., will be disqualified from admission, will not be registered electronically, and will be reported to the relevant departments for accountability. Those who fail to pass the medical re-examination shall be adjusted according to the regulations.
Article 27 According to the requirements of the "Sunshine Project", this year's undergraduate enrollment in our school will be further institutionalized and systematized, publicity services and information disclosure for candidates will be strengthened, and the legitimate rights and interests of the majority of candidates will be effectively safeguarded.
Article 28 The enrollment plan, enrollment policies, charging standards, admission principles and admission results of our school can be found on the undergraduate enrollment website of Nanjing University, and the school will not entrust any unit or individual to publish and explain the enrollment policies and admissions.
Article 29 The Articles of Association shall be interpreted by the General Undergraduate Admissions Office of Nanjing University.
