How to mix soil when planting cactus
The soil for potted cactus is calcareous sandy soil (or sandy loam), which requires good drainage and air permeability. It can be mixed with loam, humus and coarse sand, plus limestone gravel or old lime wall fragments abandoned during the demolition of old buildings, or mixed with loam, coarse sand, broken bricks, humus and old lime wall fragments. When breeding, a small amount of broken bricks should be placed at the bottom of the basin to make the drainage smooth.
