A year later, Zhong Yunlong Taoist officially accepted Yuan Xiugang as an apprentice and became a teacher. After that, he performed martial arts and recited scriptures, and really lived a life of Taoist cultivation. In addition to reading Taoist scriptures, he also studied Taoist martial arts, health preservation and inner alchemy, and studied Taoist medicine, acupuncture and the twelve meridians massage in his spare time. A few years later, Yuan Xiugang's rheumatism was completely cured.
From 65438 to 0994, Yuan Xiugang, on behalf of Wudang Mountain Taoist Association, was invited to attend the 2nd International Water Margin Wushu Culture Festival in Liangshan, Shandong Province, and won the Excellence Award. In the same year, Wudang Mountain Ancient Architecture Complex was successfully declared as a world cultural heritage. UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali personally inspected it, and Yuan Xiugang gave a martial arts performance on behalf of wu-tang clan.
From 65438 to 0995, Yuan Xiugang was invited to accompany Master to Taiwan Province Province of China for a month-long cultural exchange, performing martial arts and chanting. During this period, they toured dozens of performances in Taiwan Province Island and were warmly welcomed by their compatriots.

In 2003, Zhong Yunlong, a Taoist priest, retired from the Jianghu, and Yuan Xiugang also studied art as a teacher. The following year, he founded a traditional martial arts school with a history of more than 600 years in Wudang Mountain near Yuxu Palace to teach foreign apprentices.
After the establishment of Wushu School, foreign Wushu lovers often came here, which gave Yuan Xiugang the opportunity to promote Wudang Wushu to the world, and he began to recruit foreign disciples. However, because of the language barrier, it is easy to do one move and one style, but some skills and experiences of practicing martial arts cannot be taught through physical movements. He came up with the idea of teaching himself English, so he bought an electronic dictionary and a large number of English books and asked his disciples in Xiangyang for advice. After practicing martial arts, his foreign disciple is his English teacher. He gestured them to write on paper in English, and then rote it. Now he has mastered fluent English.
20 10 More than 40 students from more than 20 countries including the United States, Germany, Canada, Britain, Russia, Singapore and Japan came to learn Wudang Wushu. Yuan Xiugang made a detailed study plan for them. The longest study period is five years, and the longest in Wushu school.
