Spring and summer are the best seasons to replenish yang. Because the principle of TCM health preservation is to "conform to nature", the yang of the outside world is the most abundant in summer, and the yang of the human body is also the most vigorous, so some chronic diseases are alleviated under the full resistance of the yang of the human body. Therefore, in the midsummer when the human body is full of yang, it is necessary to cultivate yang more vigorously to resist the invasion of diseases in autumn and winter. This is also what Chinese medicine has always emphasized: "keeping in good health and conforming to nature".
Massage Yongquan point to replenish yang: Chinese medicine believes that "essence is born in the sole of the foot", which means human energy. There is an acupoint on the sole of the foot-Yongquan point. Huangdi Neijing says that "the kidney comes from the spring, and the spring is full of the heart." As the name implies, the qi of the spring kidney meridian is like the source water, which comes from the foot and pours out to irrigate the whole body and limbs. Therefore, Yongquan point plays an important role in human health, disease prevention, treatment and health care. Tang Zhimin suggested that the general public should massage here in their spare time every day, or massage other health-care acupoints of the human body, such as Zusanli, Guanyuan and Mingmen, which are of great benefit to health.
