There are 18 pools in Beijiushui Scenic Area, collectively referred to as Jiushui Eighteen Pools. There are Zhirou Lake in the first water, Jubei Lake, Uncovered Lake and Micro-Stone Lake in the second water, Hornless Lake and Infinite Lake in the third water, Self-made Lake and All-round Lake in the fourth water and Tan Jian Lake and Deyu Lake in the fifth water.

"Nine waters" are: kindness, embracing one, generosity, homogeneity, health preservation, selflessness, freedom, peace and permission.
