Jiumenkou Biyun Temple

In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (A.D. 1644), a stone war broke out at Jiumenkou, and the mountains and rivers were broken. The situation was turbulent and wars continued, and Biyun Temple was seriously destroyed. Wu Sangui, commander-in-chief of Shanhaiguan, put himself into restoration after winning the Stone War, presided over by Zen master Yulin. Today's temples and Buddha statues shine with light that only the holy spirit can have. This light shines directly on people's hearts, and people can't help but bow down. They silently repented in their hearts, prayed that Chen Yuanyuan had come to this temple to burn incense, and silently complained about the unknown parting or the opportunity to become attached to Buddha after many years. Since Qin Shihuang built a city to defend against the enemy, countless wars have been staged in history, such as Wu Sangui's bloody battles against Li Zicheng and Yuan Chonghuan-Dourgen, the battle of the Republic of China and the Northern Expedition. Biyun Temple witnessed one by one. 1723, Yong Zhengdi made an east tour here, and personally wrote the four characters "Hall of Great Heroes".
