1. Training goal: to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled nutrition professionals who are adapted to the development of medical care and health service industry, love nutrition care, have the necessary basic theories, knowledge and skills of nutrition care, have strong core professional ability, interpersonal communication ability and sustainable development ability of medical nutrition specialty, have good professional ethics, develop morally, intellectually and physically, and are qualified for clinical nutrition technicians and public nutritionists.
2. Core courses: basic nutrition, public nutrition, clinical nutrition, food nutrition and safety, Chinese medicine diet and dietotherapy, nutrition evaluation and guidance for special people, nutrition catering technology/disease nutrition control technology, etc.
3. Main employment direction: Graduates are employed at the grassroots level, mainly working in health service industries such as public medical and health demand units, medical and health institutions, pension service institutions, health pension service institutions, and food and health care products enterprises.
4. Examination certificate: professional qualification certificates such as dietitian, nutrition caterer and health manager.
5. Continuing education mode: Graduates can apply for full-time undergraduate programs of corresponding majors organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education (subject to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Undergraduate Programs in Zhejiang Province in the year of graduation).
