First, in promoting the work of "preventing diseases" in traditional Chinese medicine, we should use the concept of preventive health care with caution and highlight health management. Preventive health care cannot be literally understood as prevention and health care. Both general hospitals and community hospitals have preventive health care departments, and the categories of practicing physicians include preventive health care physicians, whose main responsibilities are to deal with public health emergencies, epidemic monitoring, family planning, immunization, prevention and control of infectious diseases, etc. The prevention and health care of traditional Chinese medicine is easily understood by the industry as carrying out the above work in the way of traditional Chinese medicine, which is obviously not a connotation with the "prevention of disease" of traditional Chinese medicine. The core elements of health management are health monitoring, health assessment and health intervention, which are consistent with the contents of TCM constitution identification, health recuperation and traditional therapy in the work of "preventing diseases" in TCM. At the same time, the concept of health management in traditional Chinese medicine is easier for ordinary people to understand than "preventing diseases" in traditional Chinese medicine, and it is also more conducive to international exchange and dissemination.
Second, the work of "preventing diseases" of traditional Chinese medicine is mostly connected with the "local atmosphere" of community health service institutions, and a "medical association" between secondary and tertiary Chinese medicine hospitals and community health service institutions should be constructed. Community health service institutions are the dual networks of basic medical care and public health, and carry out daily work such as maternal and child health care, health education, management of chronic non-communicable diseases, health care for the elderly, rehabilitation of the disabled, etc., which can be directly connected with the "prevention of diseases" of traditional Chinese medicine. All the Chinese medicine projects in the national basic public health services are completed by community health service institutions, and the residents' self-test huts promoted by community health service institutions in Beijing, Shanghai and other places are equipped with Chinese medicine physique appraisal equipment, which has laid a good foundation for the promotion of "preventing diseases".
Third, Chinese medicine should make full use of information technology and actively connect with the existing information system in the work of "preventing diseases". Both the HIS system of the hospital and the health management and health file system of community health service institutions are gradually improving. As a department of the hospital, the work of "preventing diseases" or docking the health management business of community health service institutions needs the support of information systems. Especially in recent years, the information systems and platforms being established by community health institutions involve the development of health records, chronic disease management, health assessment and other systems, which are consistent with the content of "preventing diseases" in traditional Chinese medicine. How to get a ride is also a problem worthy of attention.
Fourth, make full use of the theories and concepts of general practice and health management, enrich and develop the theory of "preventing diseases" in TCM, and then expand to the cultivation of talents of "preventing diseases" in TCM. Theories of general practice and health management were introduced into China in the late 1980s. With the rapid development of residents' disease spectrum, universities such as Capital Medical University have set up public and family medical colleges or general medicine departments, and the industrialization of health management is in full swing. In recent years, the theory of "preventing diseases" in traditional Chinese medicine has also been attached importance by health administrative departments at all levels. However, in the training of TCM talents in TCM colleges, "preventing diseases" is still only a "detail" in the basic theory of TCM, and it has not been developed and deepened. How to combine the changes of modern residents' disease spectrum to treat patients with chronic diseases, women and children in a targeted way has not been involved by the elderly.
Fifth, the "disease prevention" work should be coordinated with the health management industry. The health management industry in China has developed rapidly. At present, there are more than 3,000 professional health management companies in China, several of which have received tens of millions of dollars of huge investment, and it is estimated that more than 654.38 billion dollars of domestic and foreign funds will be invested in the domestic health management industry. So far, China has established six national health management associations or societies. As a new profession, "health manager" has also received the attention of relevant departments. As a dynamic health service model, health management has been paid more and more attention by * * * and recognized and accepted by the market, and has been paid more and more attention by physical examination centers, insurance companies, health care products manufacturers and other upstream and downstream, and gradually integrated into a complete industrial chain and operation system. Faced with this situation, the theory and technology of "preventing diseases" in TCM should actively connect with companies and enterprises in the health management industry, and use the market to develop and expand the team and scale of "preventing diseases", thus promoting the development and perfection of the theory and technology of "preventing diseases" in TCM.
