Gonghe town is located in the south-central Pearl River Delta, south of Heshan City, adjacent to Pengjiang District and Xinhui District of Jiangmen City. The town covers an area of 89.93 square kilometers (20 17), belonging to hilly areas. It has 12 village committees, 10 1 village groups and a neighborhood committee. With a total population of 32 100(20 17) and 23,000 overseas Chinese, it is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, a national key town and one of the provincial central towns in Guangdong Province.
