This is a Buddhist theory. I've read it several times, and I think it's like this: what we're talking about now is actually not a real Buddha, but a name like this. Fundamentally speaking, all living beings should provide for themselves, which is the real Buddha. Now we are talking about offering sacrifices to buddhas, but we have never offered sacrifices to real buddhas. The last sentence is that all living beings are future buddhas and should be supported! It is clear that it actually teaches us to be kind to all living things, not just to worship clay buddhas. This is what I understand.
