20 17 12 15. Yunzhou District of Datong City was awarded the title of "International Health and Wellness Base" by the Health and Environment Committee of the International Geographical Union.
On April 2019 18, Shanxi Provincial People's Government approved Yunzhou District to withdraw from poverty-stricken counties. In 20 19, it was listed as the second batch of national agricultural product quality and safety counties.
