? Conscience refers to our innate, intuitive or instinctive moral sense and judgment. What matters is judgment, followed by moral sense. The so-called judgment refers to what we are capable of doing, and the sense of morality refers to what we should do. Acting according to the judgment of conscience is called the unity of knowledge and action.
After studying Wang Yangming's mind, I love philosophy even more, because mind is a feasible tool to help people survive and solve problems.
? People are troubled and confused, often because they have not figured it out, so they are trapped in the circle and keep spinning. Looking at Wang Yangming's book, every chapter has the impulse to share, and I do it every day. This process is the most classic of Wang Yangming's mind learning and knowing things. Because I wanted to share, I did the sharing action. This series followed the initial heart.
? So that's why I want to share it today. I will choose the point that makes me deepest and closest to myself to share.
Wang Yangming was determined to be a saint since he was a child. Judging from the fact that he is constantly looking for a psychological tutor, Meng Jie said: Many people will be confused because they can't find their future direction. By establishing the seven-character method, they can help us find our goals in life.
? The "seven-character method" is also divided into three levels: high, medium and low. Confucius belongs to the highest level, which is difficult for ordinary people to achieve all their lives, but Wang Yangming's lifelong pursuit is also the ultimate goal-to become a saint like Confucius.
At first, Wang Yangming didn't know how to get into the heart, so he kept looking until he met Lou Liang, who told him at that time: saints can be obtained through learning the day after tomorrow, and only by learning from things can they become saints.
? This method of seeking knowledge by studying things is actually a method of Zhu Neo-Confucianism, and it is also a method of sanctification: when people face something they don't know, they should understand it through various channels (practice or book knowledge). When you understand the truth of everything, you are a saint.
However, after he passed the case, he found that this method may not be suitable for himself, because he felt that if he really followed Zhu's theory of mind as a guide for his future, I was afraid that this road would go further and further, or even deviate from the track, so he decided to take another road.
First, the necessity of repeated argumentation and practice in practice.
? Wang Yangming, because of this sentence in Zhu Xinxue: Every grass and tree has its reason, how can you know it? Therefore, there is a historical record of Wang Yangming's Gezhu.
After six days of verification, he had hallucinations after eating and sleeping, and stared at bamboo for a whole week. Later, he was dazzled and even fainted. He said that not everyone could do it. Even if he could release the bamboo, he would not admit the result, so he decided to abandon it or admit it against his will.
? As can be seen from Zhuge's example, Wang Yangming is not a hearsay person. He will use practice to verify whether the received method is feasible, instead of taking the theoretical copy as the Bible. How many people will filter, process and integrate the received information before leaving it in our minds?
I believe that most people, including myself, no matter what they learn at first, like an incinerator, they accept it first and don't verify it. As long as what the teacher said is right, now I think back to my previous way of thinking and really feel a sweat for myself.
If a person lacks a stage for thinking, it will be a serious defect in his life. People will take the initiative to seek the answer after thinking, and will once again verify whether this method is feasible when looking for the answer, and will never act rashly.
Nine years later, when Wang Yangming opened the classics of Neo-Confucianism again, he saw a letter written by Zhu, which said: "The only ambition of pious persistence is the foundation of reading; Step by step is the way to read.
? Combined with this sentence, Wang Yangming came to the conclusion after reflection: he never insisted on his only ambition, but jumped around in various fields without studying a field step by step, so he didn't achieve any results. It was like a blow to the head, poking out his problems for years. "
Wang Yangming was able to list the above contents later, which was the result of his extensive knowledge of himself and practice of the world. It is precisely because Wang Yangming has taken too many detours that Wang Yangming can constantly reflect. If he keeps jumping around in various fields and does not study a field step by step, it will never be meaningful.
Moreover, there is no road to life in vain, and it makes sense to say that taking one step at a time is also very reasonable.
The method used by Wang Yangming also reminds me of the rewind notebook that Meng Jie asked everyone to write every night. Although this rewind notebook has only one page, we can find out what we did well and what we didn't do well. Meng Jie also asked us to write down what we did well, even if we did well, and whether we could improve our time efficiency in the future. If you don't do well, how to avoid stepping on the pit again next time, wasting time and cost, is the key to the resumption.
If you can do something in a field repeatedly, then what you do every time is meaningful. Under the premise of consistency, you can do an ordinary thing professionally. This is the truth of deep ploughing in the same field.
There will never be opportunism in the learning process. Only step by step can we learn knowledge in a solid and in-depth way. Only by recognizing the truth can we guide our future direction. Step by step, another meaning also represents stability. A steady person can be calm when things happen and not influenced by the outside world. This is what he really wants to do.
Second, why should we learn knowledge solidly?
Wang Yangming once said: There is a kind of person who is usually ignorant and panics when something happens. The wisdom of people who use their quick wits does not fall from the sky, but is the credit of pure learning at ordinary times. The ancients were really smart. One sentence can make one thing clear. However, as a generation of 2 1, we are not as wise as the ancients. We really need to reflect.
? Learning knowledge is like building a building. If the foundation is stable, it will be safe to live there all the time, but once the foundation is cut corners or unstable for other reasons, people will die.
So is learning knowledge. Take the profession of lawyer as an example. In this case, you have used the correct legal provisions to deal with it, and the probability of success is very high. However, if you know one thing and don't know another, and you use the wrong case, then your failure will be borne by the defendant, which is also very fatal.
? Today I share two points that are very important to me, and next time I will take time to share Wang Yangming's classic psychology with you!
