What are the basic teachings of Taoism?
The basic doctrine of Taoism is that Tao is the essence of heaven and earth, all-encompassing, omnipresent and the beginning of all things, from which all things in heaven and earth are transformed. All the teachings of Taoism are derived from Taoism.
