Xia Ningshao, born in July, 1964, Han nationality, born in Ningxiang, Hunan Province, is a vaccine and diagnostic reagent scientist.

Xia Ningshao is an academician of China Academy of Medical Sciences, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, a professor at School of Life Sciences and School of Public Health of Xiamen University, the director of the National Center for Diagnostic Reagents and Vaccines for Infectious Diseases, and the director of the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Vaccines and Molecular Diagnostics established by the provincial government.
