Illegal. Wild Dendrobium is a national second-class protected wild plant. Whoever, in violation of the provisions of the Regulations, sells or purchases wild plants under special state protection shall be confiscated by the administrative department for industry and commerce or the administrative department of wild plants according to their division of responsibilities, and may be fined less than 10 times of the illegal income. It is not illegal to plant Dendrobium by hand.
