How to Improve the Economic Benefit of Caged Laying Hens
First, we should do everything possible to save feed and reduce the ratio of feed to eggs, which is the key to obtain higher economic income. Insist on feeding less and adding more, feeding four times a day, and there is no material left in the trough. Feeding should be restricted during the laying period, that is, when the laying rate is 50-60%, the daily feed intake of each chicken is 95- 100g, and when the laying rate is 60-70%, the daily feed intake of each chicken is115-/20g, so that the chickens can feed freely during the laying peak period. Adhere to feed the chickens with stones once a week to promote the digestion and absorption of feed.

Second, the harmful gases in the house should be discharged in time, and fresh air should be introduced to improve the production performance of chickens.

Third, artificial lighting should be used to promote hens to lay more eggs. Using artificial lighting, the illumination time of 120-day-old hens is 13 hours per day, and then it is increased by 15 minutes per week, reaching 16 hours. At the same time, it is equipped with standby power generation equipment to prevent temporary power failure.

Fourth, we must carefully manage. Always observe, pick eggs and give water, don't make a fuss, and don't wear bright clothes to create a comfortable and quiet environment for chickens.

Fifth, we should pay attention to epidemic prevention and health work. Before laying hens are put into cages, the henhouse, environment and utensils are disinfected with disinfectants, and various vaccines are inoculated according to regulations. Make as few visits as possible, and non-breeders can't enter the feeding area to prevent the introduction of infectious diseases and ensure the health of chickens.
