3. Porcelain basin
The porcelain basin itself is very ornamental, but its air permeability is not very good. Because the glaze on the outside of the porcelain basin blocks the way in and out of the air, the bottom of the porcelain basin is made of a simple drainage layer made of materials with good air permeability, such as pebbles or preferably large ceramsite (hydroponic materials, available at the flower market). A special drainage layer is also needed around the basin wall.
