The origin of lion dance and dragon dance in Pingnan is closely related to Wushu. Dragon dancers are dressed in yellow clothes, wearing yellow hats and wearing red belts around their waists, just like Taiping rebels. Pingnan people dance dragons and lions, which is a national activity. The dragon head, dragon clothes, lion head, lion body, dragon drum and lion drum are all made by the villagers themselves.
