So what is mindfulness meditation? Mindfulness refers to a meditation. Mindfulness is part of the meditation step. For example, whenever you notice that your mind is wandering, gently say, "Now, bring your mind back to physical consciousness." In this process, mindfulness plays an auxiliary role.
Is meditation understood by many people as spiritual? That's not true. Meditation is nothing new. It has existed for thousands of years. Meditation originated from Buddhism. In the past, people always regarded it as a mysterious ritual in religion, and not many people practiced it. Modern people practice meditation, which we understand as mental health maintenance beyond faith. Has nothing to do with religion or philosophy. Meditation is not as profound as we thought.
Meditation just turns our outer heart to our inner heart to see what is happening in our inner world. Pay attention to your heart every day, just like looking at your face in the mirror every day. You need to clean and trim it every day. We modern people, all kinds of emotions, anger, stress, sadness, etc. , always comes inadvertently, so we need to learn to manage our negative emotions. Psychologists have suggested that mindfulness meditation can be used to vent emotions. When you enter a state of meditation, imagination, creativity and inspiration will flow out continuously. Your judgment and understanding of things will be greatly improved, and you will feel stable and happy at the same time.
In the primary stage of mindfulness meditation, how to get yourself into the state. It is whether the body and mind enter a "fixed" state and whether the spirit is concentrated for a long time. Short-term spirit is not difficult, and long-term concentration requires us to control our inner thoughts. Now if you want to settle down quickly, the key is to have a relaxed attitude. You can take a deep breath for 3-5 times, and the deeper the breath, the longer the better, so that your mood is completely calm and your mind is clear and peaceful. You can practice breathing meditation more.
When you start meditation practice, there will be some inconspicuous changes in your body. The data shows that after 8 minutes of meditation practice, the attention will be improved. After 7 hours of practice, the connectivity of the brain circuits of empathy and positive emotions will be enhanced. After 14 days of practice, people's mental disharmony is reduced and their work attention is more focused. Selfish thoughts will decrease. The neurologist found that practicing for 8 weeks. The activity of amygdala in their brains is significantly lower than that of those who have not received mindfulness training. How to understand it? When people face disturbing things, the amygdala of the brain reacts more strongly than that of the brain unaffected by emotions, and people who have been trained in mindfulness meditation can effectively control the changes of our mentality.
A good attitude, when facing emotions, will not be influenced by emotions, and freely face people and things now. Mindfulness meditation is to teach you how to observe yourself, observe your behavior, expression and way of eating, and teach you how to detect your emotional ups and downs and eliminate them. When you learn to be aware of all this and make no choice, then you have the wisdom and ability to know yourself and yourself.
