Introduction of Maoshan Scenic Spot in Jintan
Maoshan, the sacred mountain of Taoism in China, is located in the west of Changzhou, southwest of Zhenjiang, at the junction of Jintan District of Changzhou and jurong city, with a north-south trend and an area of more than 50 square kilometers. Maoshan Mountain refers to a famous Taoist mountain in Jiangsu Province, China, and is the birthplace of Taoist Shangqing School, which is called "Shangqing Zongtan" by Taoism. It has the reputation of "the first blessed land and the eighth hole"! It is also one of the six major anti-Japanese base areas in China! In recent years, Jintan has rebuilt thousands of Taoist temples, such as Gan Yuan Temple, Chongshou Temple and Yuanyang Temple, with the orientation of "Taoist health preservation, leisure vacation and ecological sightseeing". At the same time, the overall planning of Maoshan tourism 108 square kilometers highlights the characteristics of Maoshan Taoism, landscapes (hot springs), tea culture and educated youth culture, and increases investment to introduce leisure tourism projects such as Baosheng Garden, Ziyun Lake, Oriental Salt Lake City and Jinshawan Country Club. After Maoshan Tourist Resort has been upgraded to a provincial tourist resort, Jintan Maoguan Management Committee is hiring American professional planning and design companies to redesign the main entrance, distribution service area and Maoshan Avenue of Maoshan in combination with its natural and human resources to optimize the tourism development pattern.
