Buddhist thought is self-contained, and often thinks that "all actions are impermanent", that is, everything in the world is like a dream bubble, fleeting, and everything is bitter. Therefore, how to get rid of this endless world of suffering and go to the other side of the paradise is the ultimate goal of successive dynasties. In this case, Buddhists don't have to be diligent in health preservation. On the contrary, they are fascinated by circles and nirvana.
Throughout history, health preservation has a very long history in China. Legend has it that Peng Zu lived in Shang Dynasty for more than 800 years, so there is no need to regard it as a history of trust. There seems to be no doubt that Laozi in the Spring and Autumn Period, Hua Tuo in the Han Dynasty and Sun Simiao in the Tang Dynasty, who were good at qigong instruction, all enjoyed a life span of over 100 years.
