Ten New Functions of Siwu Decoction in Supplementing Blood and Nourishing Blood, Promoting Blood Circulation and Regulating Menstruation, Regulating Qi and Nutrition
Siwutang: It consists of Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong and Radix Paeoniae Alba. Promoting blood circulation and nourishing blood, activating qi and dredging collaterals can regulate and improve blood deficiency and blood stasis, and is good at treating insomnia, palpitation, shortness of breath, dizziness and dull complexion caused by blood deficiency or blood stasis.

Siwutang is a traditional classic prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for nourishing blood, promoting blood circulation, regulating menstruation and regulating qi and nutrition.

Basic biochemical characteristics of siwutang xinsiwutang.

1. Men's Siwu Decoction: Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Fructus Jujubae Peel, Radix Morindae Officinalis and Alismatis Rhizoma.

Can be used for treating common cold, weakness of limbs, backache, loss of blood color, sexual dysfunction, impotence and premature ejaculation.

2. Women's Siwu Decoction: Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Fructus Lycii, Caulis Spatholobi and Radix Astragali. Can be used for mental fatigue, mental fatigue, chills, soreness of waist and knees, irregular menstruation, long urination, etc.

3. Heart and brain decoction: Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, and Radix Notoginseng. 5. Cardiopulmonary Siwu Shengmai Decoction: Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Ophiopogonis, Five Flavors and Lily. Can be used for treating qi deficiency asthma, palm fever, red tongue with little coating, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and pulmonary heart disease.

6. Gan Wei Siwu Decoction: Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae and Radix Bupleuri. Can be use for treating disease caused by deficiency of qi and blood and disharmony between liver and stomach.

7. Wei Ying Siwu Decoction: Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Ramulus Cinnamomi, Fructus Jujubae and Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens. For blood deficiency in the body, wind-cold will lead to Wei Rong disharmony, paralysis due to qi stagnation and blood stasis, or spontaneous sweating due to fear of wind, sweating, and easy to catch a cold.

8. Litchi Five Soups: Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Bupleuri Radix, Rhizoma Cyperi, and Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae.
