Guangxi University was founded in 1928, and its first president was Dr. Ma, a "grandmaster" who was known as the "Northern Cai South Ma" in education. 1939 was renamed as National Guangxi University in Guilin, where a group of famous teachers such as Zhu Kezhen, Li Siguang and Chen Wangdao once taught. 1952, Mao Zedong wrote the name of Guangxi University in his own handwriting. 1953 transfer teachers, students, equipment and books to 19 universities in central and southern China. 65438-0958, Guangxi University resumed reconstruction in Nanning. 1997, merged with Guangxi Agricultural University to form a new Guangxi University.
