The Theory and Principles of Four Seasons Health Care
The book "On Baoming's All-Angle Theory" says: "People are born with the spirit of heaven and earth, which is formed by the method of four seasons." Six Tibetan elephants in Su Wen of Neijing said: "Heaven eats people with five flavors, and the earth eats people with five flavors." All these show that the human body must rely on the material conditions provided by the qi of heaven and earth to survive, and at the same time, it must adapt to the changing law of yin and yang in four seasons to develop and grow. As Zhang Jingyue, a famous doctor in Ming Dynasty, said, "Spring is liver-oriented, summer is heart-oriented, long summer is spleen-oriented, autumn is lung-oriented, and winter is kidney-oriented." It shows that the physiological activities of the five internal organs of the human body must adapt to the changes of yin and yang in the four seasons in order to maintain a harmonious balance with the external environment. This is basically consistent with the modern view that the conditions of life are the result of the interaction between matter and energy between heaven and earth. Humans need to eat. Breathing air exchanges substances with nature, thus maintaining normal metabolic activities.
