Young people in China are getting sick more and more easily.
▲ In your early 20 s, or just after 30 years old, you have cancer. At the most glorious time of my life, I will start a thrilling fight against cancer.

In-depth interviews with more than 20 young people with cancer. We excerpted the feelings of four parties after illness, which may alert more people: care about their own health and pay attention to health.

1

I even wonder if I did something wrong,

But no.

@ Wu Mou training institution teacher, 25-year-old was diagnosed with early renal cancer.

When I discovered cancer, it was the most proud stage of my life.

I'm going to Korea to study for a doctorate at public expense. The monthly subsidy is not only enough for one girl, but also the balance. I plan to go to Africa to participate in a public welfare project during the holiday, and I plan to be a teacher in colleges and universities in the future. My income and social status have good expectations.

Physical examination before going abroad: I have kidney cancer.

It's Christmas Eve. On this day last year, I was celebrating the festival with my friends. That day, I looked at the clear vest line in my abdomen and couldn't believe it. How can I become a cancer patient who loves fitness and has a regular schedule? Just a month ago, I ran a half marathon.

Because of illness, I didn't retain the qualification to live and study for a PhD, and missed the school move. After the treatment, I went to find a job and invested in a training institution with a monthly salary of only 2000 yuan. I was rejected because of my medical history.

Finally, I learned to hide before I found a job in a temporary training institution. I dare not consider a higher platform, for fear that strict physical examination will find out the identity of my cancer patient and eliminate me.

A lot of things that should belong to me should be put down. I haven't seriously thought about death in my life for more than twenty years. It shattered my original high-spirited life plan and my confidence.

Sometimes I think, can I really only play soy sauce in my future employment and never go up? Why does society treat young cancer patients like this?

Some people say that cancer is the result of immoral behavior, and I even doubt myself. I began to count whether I had done anything unnatural in these 20 years, and there was nothing!

I was in urology during the re-examination, waiting for treatment with many middle-aged fat people, and I felt that I had done something bad, as if I were unclean. I didn't do anything wrong, but I always feel guilty.

But cancer patients are just patients, not sinners.

2

My mother didn't accompany me to the treatment, and my boyfriend broke up with me.

@ Quan Xiaoping was unemployed and was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 22.

For five years, I had nothing but illness.

When I was a sophomore, the hard pimple on my left chest had grown to 5 cm. I want to go to the hospital in the province for examination. My mother called all my relatives and told me that I couldn't afford to go to a big hospital. Miss the best treatment period.

Later, I learned from a group of nearly 2000 patients that the Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Sciences has a clinical trial group that provides free examination and treatment.

My mother is tired of running back and forth. I often go to the hospital alone, throw up on the bus and suddenly faint in the subway. Every time I get a report, I'm scared. Sometimes I hide from crying and continue to block the doctor after crying.

My boyfriend came to see me in the ward, crying all the time, saying, "My mother said that you love me and leave me ... My mother said that if we don't break up, she won't buy me a house or take care of my children in the future ..."

I lost my breasts, my love and my confidence. When my condition is stable, I will go back to school to continue my study. Hang breast augmentation underwear in the hood every day and go to the school next door with a single bathroom to take a shower.

A *** 66 months. From being pricked by a nurse's needle to crying, to calculating the pain time without changing color. Bald three times, and it takes six months to grow up and see people. The first time I was scared by the report of cancer metastasis, I thought time was running out. Now I can comfort myself: "After all, I am still alive".

All this is not inspirational, but forced to accept numbness. The heart has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. I was forced to learn to accept bad things, shorten my sadness to a few minutes, and learn to face, accept and find ways quickly. No matter what state life is in, it is always more worthwhile to have the courage to meet it than to escape timidity.

three

I never thought of going downstairs to have a check-up for myself.

@ 丫丫丫丫丫丫丫丫丫, a cardiac surgeon, was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the age of 35.

I am a surgeon. Before I got sick, I walked past the hospital bulletin board and didn't have time to read the slogan: "Health is like the number 1, and career, family, status and money are all zero. With 1, the more zeros behind, the richer you are. On the contrary, without 1, everything is just 0, which is empty. "

At least half a year, I will cough and have bloody sputum on the morning of the operation. But I never thought of going downstairs for an examination.

The patients in our department are more critical. Maybe it's just a sip of water, and the instrument will call the police into the operating room. The operation lasts 4 days a week, and each operation lasts 3-4 hours on average, usually ending at 90: 00 at night.

You never know which comes first, tomorrow or the accident.

Looking at the White Pagoda the other day, someone on the barrage said, "It's hard to imagine what it's like for doctors to know that they have terminal cancer, because they know every stage and state of death."

When the symptoms get worse, I feel weak and scared, especially recently. I feel particularly bad. When I was dying, I felt desperate. I have to give up things I once loved, such as surgery and mountaineering, such as the failed marathon.

I am used to life and death, but I can handle it calmly. Just this life, is it meaningful to live? Did you create value? Have you ever helped others? Did you leave a good reputation? May this life be glad you came.

What becomes important and what becomes unimportant?

The relationship with caring people has become important, because turning around may be a lifetime ago. Other trivial matters are no longer important, such as work, professional title, promotion, house and car. In the past, I could completely ignore other things for work, but now I feel lucky to be alive.

four

You have cancer and don't want to end your life?

This is too pit.

@ Ding Yijiang, a part-time cartoonist, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor at the age of 33.

My name is Ding, Libra, and I am 35 years old. Like many men of this age, I am a son, a husband, a father and the owner of a dog.

Originally, I lived a happy life. In the autumn of 20 15, I won the first prize in my life: neuroendocrine tumor with an incidence rate of only three in one hundred thousand. It was too late to find out.

I was forced to suspend my work, my family nearly collapsed, and I traveled all over China for medical treatment. However, thanks to cancer, I learned to eat on time, go to bed early and spend more time with my family.

I used to work overtime every day, go home to sleep, and keep repeating. I don't know the point of living like that. I do not like my job. I ate it and died. What I do most in the company is PPT.

I saw the name of the producer when I watched the movie "Big Fish Begonia". We were rivals. They won the second prize and I won the third prize in an animation competition in the university.

Ten years later, they persisted in their dreams, and I lost to reality. When I graduate from college, I also want to do design. Because of my background in power engineering, my dream came to nothing.

Now, I have picked up a brush that I haven't touched for more than ten years and painted my own experience into a cartoon. The name is Ding Neuroma Jun, and I also thought about the epitaph: People who sleep here like painting very much. The greatest work he has ever painted is to draw himself into the hearts of many people.

It is said that some people counted the soldiers who survived World War II and found that most people had a kind of concern or obsession in their hearts, which made them strong and survived in the cruel war. I'm worried about my seven-year-old daughter.

One day she said, "Dad, I looked out of the window yesterday, but I didn't see you coming back, so I secretly cried." I drew a photo album for her, and then my friends will go home and show it off. Maybe she will forgive such an irresponsible father when she grows up.

I am a very failed person, and I can't do anything until the end. So, I have cancer and I don't even want to stick to my life. This is too pit. I hope to set an example for my daughter and let her know that when facing difficulties, at least don't give up.

Why do young people get more and more cancers?

According to the data of the National Cancer Registry of the United States, in 2000, there were about 40 cases of tumors in every 654.38+ million people aged 20 to 39, and in 2065.438+03, this number became 70 cases. The data has increased by 80%.

Yang Gonghuan, former deputy director of China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said in an interview that cancer has become the first cause of death in China, and more and more young people are sick.

Why are more and more young people suffering from cancer? It has something to do with lifestyle.

0 1 Staying up late is a common practice.

Xiong Dun, an illustrator who died of malignant lymphoma, the prototype of the film Fuck off tumor jun, once said: I often stay up late to draw pictures, and overtime is a common thing, and I feel that there is always endless work. I have to draw K songs at night and drink at dinner, which saves me the hard time of working overtime. Life is really colorful!

Yu Juan, the author of Cancer Diary and an outstanding young teacher of Fudan University, once said: I didn't sleep before 12! My habit for more than ten years is to stay up late. Actually, staying up late at my age is not a big deal. Everyone I know stays up late, but I have to say, staying up late is really bad.

Sit all day without exercise.

Sitting in front of the computer is a day. When I get home from work, I lie on the sofa and watch my mobile phone. I seldom get up and move. These bad habits lead to slow gastrointestinal peristalsis, and the metabolism of the body is prone to problems.

The diet is not spicy or unpleasant, the colder the better.

I like to drink cold drinks for a long time. The colder the ice, the better. I like to eat spicy food. These all hurt the spleen and stomach.

Hunger, satiety and irregular diet will also affect normal gastrointestinal function.

Don't take illness seriously while you are young.

Many people feel that they are young, have nothing to do with minor illnesses, can't get seriously ill and don't go to the hospital. So sometimes we miss the initial signs of the disease and the best treatment period. By the time it was discovered, it was too late to regret it.

six

Do five words, cancer is farther away from you!

Eat: Eat colored vegetables every day.

To prevent tumors, more than half of the vegetables eaten every day should be colored vegetables, among which green leafy vegetables and red and yellow vegetables are rich in vitamins, minerals and cellulose, and have low calories, so you can eat more.

In addition, you can eat more "health care dishes" to prevent cancer, such as mushrooms (especially mushrooms), fungus, asparagus, cauliflower and so on.

Moving: Walking is the best and easiest.

The best exercise is walking, and the simplest exercise is walking. It can be long or short, fast or slow, and there is no need to pay, but the most important condition is good air. Aerobic exercise is recommended 4 ~ 5 times a week, lasting 20 ~ 30 minutes each time.

Abstinence: You must give up smoking and drink less.

Smoking is the biggest harm to cells when you are young. Nicotine only takes 7.5 seconds to reach the brain, damaging blood vessels and bronchial intima, and making use of carcinogenic factors. You can drink a little fermented wine, such as wine and beer, 1 cup, and try not to drink other wines.

Love: Being in a good mood can "kill cancer"

If you are depressed, the power to kill cancer cells will naturally drop by more than 20%. For those with introverted personality, psychological imbalance, depression, and a history of mental trauma (mostly mixed personality), it is recommended to participate in outdoor activities and adjust bad emotions.

Examination: Regular anti-cancer physical examination.

Generally speaking, targeted anti-cancer physical examination is conducive to the early detection of cancer, especially for middle-aged and elderly people, smokers, frequent drinkers, people with cancer in blood relatives, hepatitis and other high-risk groups. ■

How did cancer come from?

First, cancer is saved!

1. Food is moldy and unwilling to throw away, saving liver cancer.

Peanuts, corn, beans and other foods with high starch content, once moldy, it is best to throw them away. Because starch can breed Aspergillus flavus and aflatoxin causing liver cancer in high temperature and humid environment, many studies show that it is a strong chemical carcinogen, and 1 mg is the carcinogenic dose.

If a peanut is found to be broken, the bowl of peanuts, or a bag of peanuts stored, must be thrown away. Don't be too thrifty to throw away.

Unwilling to eat fresh fruits and vegetables will increase the risk of cancer.

Look at this set of data:

The death toll of related diseases caused by not eating enough fruits is:

There are 472,500 people suffering from ischemic heart disease.

208,400 people have lung cancer.

60,700 people have esophageal cancer.

5400 patients with laryngeal cancer

There are 3600 cases of oral cancer.

This is the research achievement of the Center for the Prevention of Chronic Infectious Diseases of China Center for Disease Control and Prevention on the analysis of the attributable death of people aged 25 and above in China in 20 13 years.

Don't think fruit is dispensable, and don't be reluctant to eat it because of its high price. Eat 200-350g of fresh fruit every day. Fruit juice can't replace fresh fruit, canned food, dried fruit, etc.

Second, cancer is lazy!

1. Too lazy to exercise: 13 kinds of cancer risk rise.

Busy at work, too much housework, no exercise? Being so lazy will increase the risk of cancer.

The National Cancer Institute of the United States found that adults who exercise the most have an average cancer risk of 7% lower than those who exercise the least.

People who do the most exercise walk more than 1 hour every day on average. Their risk of esophageal cancer is 42% less, liver cancer is 27% less, and kidney cancer is 23% less.

No matter how busy you are, you can't forget to exercise, and no matter how lazy you are, don't be too lazy to exercise.

2. Too lazy to have a physical examination: I missed the earliest discovery period of cancer.

Many cancer patients wait until the later symptoms appear before going to the hospital. At this time, it is often too late, missed the best treatment period, and the doctor can do nothing.

Remember: healthy people should have regular physical examinations every year, and people with family history of cancer and risk factors should also have regular targeted examinations every year. For example, people at high risk of lung cancer can do low-dose spiral CT examination, and women over the age of 25 should do breast color ultrasound regularly.

Third, cancer is eaten!

1. Often eat too hot food: increase the risk of esophageal cancer.

Drinking hot drinks above 65℃ may increase the risk of esophageal cancer. This is because eating too hot will burn the esophageal mucosa, and constant stimulation will make the esophageal mucosa proliferate and mutate, increasing the risk of cancer.

When you don't feel hot, put the food just out of the pot for a while before eating.

2. Eat meat fried frequently: increase the risk of intestinal cancer.

Eat more oil and meat, eat less coarse grains and vegetables, and exercise too little will slow down gastrointestinal peristalsis. At the same time, eating more high-fat foods will increase the secretion of bile acids in the intestine, stimulate and damage the intestinal mucosa. Over time, it will increase the risk of intestinal cancer.

Eat meat in moderation, three meals of vegetables and fruit every day. Coarse grains should account for 1/3 of the staple food, such as black rice, sorghum, oats, red beans, soybeans, sweet potatoes and yam.
