Shicheng Park is one of the landmark buildings in Cangzhou New Town Planning. Cangzhou is called the Lion City because there is an oldest and largest iron lion in Cangxian, Cangzhou. In 2009, Cangzhou Municipal Government decided to manufacture heavy-duty cast iron lions. And completed the casting of the new Cangzhou iron lion in Botou, the hometown of casting. The new Cangzhou iron lion was cast once, with a length of about 8.5 meters, a width of about 4. 18 meters and a height of about 6.9 meters, which filled the missing tail and chin of the original iron lion. The new iron lion weighs about 1.20 tons, its volume is 1.32 times that of the original iron lion, and its design life is 2000.

2011At 8: 08 am on March 25th, the new Cangzhou Iron Lion officially set sail in Wanjiazhai Village, Haocun Town, Botou City, the casting place. After 5 hours of transportation, the journey is 80 kilometers, and in the afternoon 1 we arrive at Cangzhou Lion City Park in the west of Cangzhou City. Starting from the afternoon of March 25th, four heavy cranes with a lifting weight of 200-300 tons jointly operated to place the new Cangzhou Iron Lion firmly on the second floor of the pedestal specially built for the new Cangzhou Iron Lion in Shicheng Park, Cangzhou. At 7: 00 am on March 26th, the new Cangzhou Iron Lion started the final hoisting operation, and it took less than 1 hour to put it firmly on the pedestal. The new Cangzhou Iron Lion stands in the center of Cangzhou Lion City Park with a mighty posture.

(2) International Convention and Exhibition Center

Shicheng Park also has an international convention and exhibition center, which is located on the south side of Jiefang West Road, the west side of Yingbin Avenue and the southwest side of the city gymnasium. It covers an area of 27 1 mu with a total construction area of 66,000 square meters. It consists of three parts: exhibition, conference and bird's eye gallery. Cangzhou Gymnasium covers an area of 78 1 mu, with a total construction area of 22,700 square meters. The total investment is estimated to be about 200 million yuan.
