JCR is a junior common room, a common room for undergraduates. SCR is a common lounge for graduate students and doctoral students.

They are not just the concept of a room, but the membership of a college, which needs to be paid. After paying, you can participate in all activities, including dinner, entertainment facilities, music room and so on.

The fees are generally expensive, and some colleges even cost between 50 and 90 pounds. There are also 15-25 pounds, but I think many undergraduates take the initiative to pay. They think the JCR meeting is very important and necessary.
