The Origin and Development of Chen Style Tai Ji Chuan

Tai Ji Chuan is a pearl in China's martial arts treasure house, and it is also one of the traditional sports with China characteristics. Tai Ji Chuan was created by Chen, a native of Chenjiagou, wen county, Henan Province in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. The following is what I arranged for you: Welcome to read!

Chen, also known as Chen Zouting, about 1509, was born in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. He is both a civilian and a soldier. He went to Yudai Mountain alone, tried to stop the rebellion in Li Ji in Dengfeng, and made great achievements for the Qing court to pacify Shandong bandits. He is very famous in Henan and Shandong, but he has not been reused by the Qing court. Unable to serve the country, Chen retired. In addition to farming, he invented and created a set of new boxing methods combining Yin and Yang, combining with the ancestral 100 single-eight-style long boxing, drawing on the strengths of many families, combining the theory of Yin and Yang and the five elements in Yi ology, and referring to the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the technique of guiding breathing, including Tai Ji Chuan five-way, artillery one-way, two-push, knife and gun.

When Chen created Tai Ji Chuan, his boxing theory came from three sources: one was based on the Yin-Yang theory in the Book of Changes; Second, it is based on Taoist health preservation and meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine; Third, Qi Jiguang's "Boxing Classic" and other martial arts classics were used for reference when creating routine external skills. In this way, this set of boxing has become a complete and scientific, both internal and external, excellent martial arts project with both fitness, aggression and artistry. It is a knowledge of physical and mental cultivation and an integral part of human life science. Therefore, the scientific and practical value of Chen Taiji Biography has attracted more and more attention from Chinese and foreign people.

In Chenjiagou, Taiji Chuan has been kept secret. It was not until 14 generation Chen and the 6th generation Tai Ji Chuan grandmaster Chen Changxing handed the boxing to Yang Luchan, a native of Yongnian, Hebei Province, that Yang style, Wu style, Wu style and Sun style evolved, and Tai Ji Chuan slowly spread to all parts of the country. The legend of Yang Luchan stealing boxing originated from this, and a number of works such as Gong's martial arts novels "Stealing Boxing" and "Taiji Master" series appeared after adaptation.

Chen Changxing, 177 1- 1853, the 14th Chen, was called "Mr memorial tablet".

Yang Luchan, 1799- 1872, from Yongnian, Hebei.

But for a long time, Tai Chi Chuan, which tends to be gentle, has been widely circulated. Chen Fake, a famous Tai Ji Chuan master, and Zhao Chen Pi, his nephew, spread Chen Tai Ji Chuan from the corner of Chenjiagou, Henan Province, to Beijing and Nanjing, maintaining the inherent characteristics of Tai Ji Chuan, such as lightness and rigidity, alternating speed and forward and backward spiral. Chen Fake has made the greatest contribution to routine arrangement and promotion of Chen Tai Ji Chuan. 1928 was invited to Beijing to give boxing. From then on, the true face of Chen Tai Ji Chuan began to be understood by outsiders, and he himself was honored as a milestone in the history of Tai Ji Chuan's development by the martial arts community. Zhao Chen Pi has also made great contributions to the promotion of Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan, especially in cultivating the "four donkey kong" Chen Xiaowang, Chen Zhenglei, Wang Xi An and Zhu Tiancai in Chenjiagou.

Chen Fake, 1887- 1957, the 17th Chen, the ninth descendant of Chen, and the great-grandson of Chen Changxing.

Zhao Chen Pi, 1893- 1972, Zi Jifu, 18th Chen, grandson of chandy 10, nephew of Chen Fake.

1957 after the death of Chen Fake, in the following 30 years, it was mainly Mr. Chen Zhaokui, the son of Chen Fake, who spread the biography of Chen Taiji from Beijing to Shanghai, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang and Jiaozuo. Especially after the fake students of Chen style, Gu, Yi Fa and Zhao Kui, published the book "Chen style Tai Ji Chuan", Chen style Tai Ji Chuan spread more widely at home and abroad, and the "true face of Lushan Mountain" was known to the world.

Chen Zhaokui, 1928- 198 1, the 18th Chen, the descendant of 10 Chen, the son of Chen Fake.

Chen Fake is the great-grandson of Chen Changxing, the17th master of Chen, the 9th master of Taiji Chuan Chen, and the head of Chen's family boxing in the first half of the 20th century. 1928, Xu Yusheng invited him to Beijing to teach boxing, but there was little publicity and spread. Teacher Chen Zhaokui is Chen Fake's youngest son, and his father loves him very much. He has been with him all the time, teaching him the low-handed boxing he practiced when he was young. This frame is carefully choreographed and very difficult. Chen Fake ordered his son to practice 20 times a day, and Mr. Chen Zhaokui handed down the family story. It can be said that the boxing handed down by him is in the same strain as that of Chen Changxing.

After liberation, although Chen Fake was over 60 years old, he still taught boxing and pushing hands in Beijing. The boxing ring is raised in time, which tends to be stable, comfortable and more generous. However, for the son, it is still required to practice kung fu.

Mr. Chen Zhaokui inherited the family heirloom from childhood and won the mystery of Tai Ji Chuan. 1957 after Chen Fake's death, Mr. Chen Zhaokui was less than 30 years old, and he was a true descendant of the Chinese and Lao boxing in contemporary Chen Changxing. Some people call the boxing frame handed down by Chen Fake "new", but Mr. Chen thinks this is wrong. Although Mr. Chen often claims that his kung fu is not as good as his father's, he is literate, knowledgeable and willing to study. He is good at applying scientific knowledge such as materialist dialectics, modern human mechanics and physiology to the decomposition of boxing, and with decades of efforts, he has made outstanding contributions in inheriting and developing Chen Shi Tai Ji Chuan's boxing theory and boxing.

Mr. Ma Hong, a great master, studied under Mr. Chen Zhaokui, a descendant of chandy 10, and devoted himself to hard work, research and faithful inheritance. He went to Beijing three times, studied with Henan twice, and lived in Shijiazhuang for three times to teach art. He studied boxing with the teacher for nine years before and after, and learned the secrets of traditional Tai Ji Chuan boxing spectrum, boxing theory and boxing methods handed down by Chen family.

Ma Hong, formerly known as Guo Yukun, 1927, was born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province and descended from Chen 1 1 generation.

Teacher Ma Hong has taught Chen Tai Ji Chuan in Hebei, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shandong, Hunan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Jilin, Sichuan, Beijing, Shaanxi, Hong Kong and other places for many times, and has been invited to give lectures and pass boxing in the United States, Malaysia, Italy, Canada, New Zealand and other countries. More than 8,000 students received education directly. 1982, he advocated the establishment of "Chen taiji biography research society" and also founded the publication "Chen taiji biography research". According to his teacher Chen Zhaokui's records when giving boxing, he compiled and published a series of works, such as Biography of Chen Taiji, Encyclopedia of Body Art, Biography of Chen Taiji, Boxing Method and Biography of Chen Taiji, and recorded five teaching films of Chen Taiji's biography and his boxing methods and 10 VCD discs. In 2008, he published a new book "Chen Taiji's Secret Power-Breaking Boxing" and eight sets of teaching DVDs. His theoretical thought is unique and profound, which has built an immortal monument for the inheritance and development of Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan.
