Zaozhuang is the first "cross-strait exchange base" and "National Fitness Yangko City" in China, which is famous at home and abroad for the battle between Flying Tigers and Taierzhuang. As a new tourist city, as of June 20 16, there are 47 A-level scenic spots in China, including 1 5A scenic spot, 12 4A scenic spot, 18 3A scenic spot and 4 national wetland parks. The famous tourist attractions in Zaozhuang include Taierzhuang Ancient City, Baodugu, Weishan Lake Wetland Honglian Scenic Area, Guanshi Liuyuan, Flying Tigers Film and Television City and Mozi Memorial Hall.

Zaozhuang is located in the east of China, south of Shandong, east of Linyi, south of Xuzhou, west of Jining and west of Weishan Lake. The longest length from north to south is 96 kilometers, and the urban area accounts for 2.97% of the total area of Shandong Province. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, high in the east and low in the west, and inclined from northeast to southwest. Hills account for 54.6% of the total area, plains account for 26.6%, and depressions account for 18.8% of the total area.
