Joycon can't be recognized as a horizontal grip. How to solve it?
Solution:

Joy-con handle is inserted around NS host, that is, handheld mode. Then pull it out, pair it again, set the handle, and try to see if it is vertical. If yes, the pairing is successful, and the horizontal grip can be recognized.

If it doesn't work, switch to key pairing:

Select Handles from the main menu, and then select Change Handles/Order. When the following screen is displayed, press and hold the synchronization key on the handle to be paired for at least one second. After pairing, the player indicator light corresponding to the handle number will always be on.

Confirm the use of Joy-Con:

The host computer will not be able to judge whether the left and right Joy-Con are controlled as a pair of handles or whether the left and right Joy-Con are controlled as separate handles.

To confirm how to use Joy-Con, please press the L key /R key, as shown in the figure below.

Summarized as follows:

Left Joy-Con has a special screenshot button, which can take a screenshot with one click. Right Joy-Con supports NFC function and can be used with amiibo. There is also an infrared camera at the bottom, which can sense the player's gestures and distance.

For example, the principle of measuring heart rate in "Great Adventure in Fitness Circle" is to irradiate infrared rays from the somatosensory infrared camera of the right Joy-Con on the fingertips to detect subtle reflection changes.
