Traditional Diane dance is not accompanied by instrumental music, and dancers dance to the song. The rhythm of the song is distinct and the dance movements are simple. Traditionally, in Diane, "Bo" presided over the ceremony, with singers and men who were good at Diane's dance, followed by patients and people around them. At the climax, they cheered with words such as "Aha-ho", "He Jiye" and "Ben didn't come", and gradually developed from singing to dancing to express their cheerful mood after work. Later, more people participated in Diane's singing, and the lyrics and tunes were richer. When there was a lively duet and competition atmosphere, some dancers broke their soles and tore their robes, and even the little Lama secretly took off his teaching clothes to participate in the singing. A prominent feature of Diane dance is hand movements. People can jump from dusk to dawn every autumn harvest season. For seven consecutive days, even twenty-one days, the longest is forty-nine days. The number of dancers varies from at least a dozen to hundreds. The venue for dancing Diane is spacious and flat, turning over three feet of soil, spreading horse manure or grass, and then spreading wet soil, which has good elasticity. An empty bowl was buried in the middle of the field with a shaft on it. The top of the axle is tightly covered with cloth. Traditional Diane dance is usually accompanied by songs, and singing is the main feature of Diane dance. The movement, relaxation and rhythm of Diane's dance are integrated, which makes people full of vitality and produces a gorgeous posture when jumping to the climax. Therefore, it has the charm of resurrection. Stepping, stamping, throwing towels and making circles are the basic steps commonly used in Diane's dance. During the development of Diane's dance, Mongolians have joined a large number of folk songs, Haolaibao and congratulations. Dance and songs, dance and rap are organically combined into one, gradually forming dozens of tracks.
With the arrival of Diane Dance on the stage, its influence has gradually expanded, but the original ecological Diane is facing a huge crisis. With the death of a generation of old artists such as Eldon Barra, some original lyrics and classic dances have gradually disappeared. Its original charm and original ecological culture are in crisis. In areas where Mongolian people live in compact communities, there are fewer and fewer people who can dance and live in peace. In particular, traditional ceremonies, dance programs and lyrics such as "I will live in peace in Japan" and "Pray for rain and live in peace" are almost lost, leaving only fragments. Many young people even think Diane is an old-age aerobics.
It can be seen that the scene, the number of participants and the degree of people's investment in Diane's dance at that time were by no means inferior to the current street dance.
Since 20 10, with the comprehensive start of the national intangible cultural heritage protection project, the protection of intangible cultural heritage in Subei County has become increasingly extensive and in-depth. As a national cultural brand, the excavation, arrangement and protection of Mongolian Diane dance are also proceeding in an orderly manner. In 2007, Subei County successfully held the first "Electric Cup" Diane Dance Competition, which once faded out of people's sight and once again caused a sensation and became a topic of gossip. In 2008, with the popularity of mass fitness activities and square dance in Subei County, Mongolian Diane dance became the first choice for mass fitness activities of all ethnic groups, including Mongolians and Hans, and was favored.
