Are there any interesting parks in Bangkok?
Lombini Park can be called a paradise in the city, with quiet environment, fresh air and tree-lined trees-making citizens perfectly close to nature. Named after the birthplace of the Buddha in Nepal, this park covers an area of more than 500,000 square meters and is the habitat of various animals and plants.

Its history can be traced back to the 1920s, and it was once the exhibition center of Thai handicrafts and flowers. Although its original scene is difficult to restore, over the years, Lombini Park has developed into an outdoor leisure center for Bangkok citizens. People gather here before and after sunset for jogging, light activities, aerobic exercise and a series of other recreational activities.

"Green Lung" in Bangkok Today, Lombini Park attracts tourists of all ages, wise elders are practicing Tai Chi, couples are walking by the lake, and office workers from nine to five are breathing fresh air and exercising-everything here is lush. The park is not only a gathering place for all kinds of rare local flowers, but also a forest park. In addition, there are strange residents like lizards in the water. ......................................................................................................................................... can strut here in the morning, and dusk is the best time to watch adult competitions. On weekends, the laughter of family and children will make this place full of energy. Some colorful recreational activities provided by the park include boating, pedaling and an interesting outdoor gym.

Entertainment places suitable for people of all ages.

Before sunset, you can sweat profusely with energetic high-tech dance music and free open-air aerobics classes. There is also a basketball court where you can try your hand. Usually, Sunday afternoon entertainment includes performances by local jazz bands or classical orchestras (free of charge). Mats can be rented for only 30 baht, and snacks are also provided at the nearest vendor booth.

In addition, its garden is extremely spacious, and you can also meditate here. Unlike other places in Bangkok, you can take off your shoes here and touch the grass with the cool morning dew. Watch (or join) local fitness enthusiasts to get blood flowing-you can jog, ride a bike and stretch, or practice fencing, Tai Chi, yoga and ballroom dancing under the pavilion.

Please be careful, this is the jungle.

If you don't like leisurely strolling, you can stroll along the maze-like road and appreciate the charm of nature. Some places have shelters where you can read, meditate or have a picnic. Young people and active people can climb the climbing frame, sit on the seesaw or swing, or take a nap in the shade of trees.

Don't be afraid to meet the permanent "residents" of the park ... reptiles (such as crocodiles) may sneak out of the pond to sunbathe, squirrels will perform tricks on the tops of trees, and palm-sized mollusks will walk on the lawn-these animals you meet in the park are only part of God's people. It is unexpected to see these animals in such a big city. They are all urban survivors of ancient Siam. Please note that although the reptiles mentioned above-lizards called the guardians of water-may not eat people, it is not recommended to feed them by hand!

From Food Street to Weekend Food Market

Speaking of food, Lombini Park will never let you down. Food vendors near the statue of Rama V outside the door cook all kinds of delicious "pad thai" (a Thai noodle dish) and "jim joom" (a hot pot of meat and vegetables), while the fresh market on weekends is a row of market stalls selling all kinds of delicious food, from seafood to fruits and vegetables, to ready-to-eat Chinese food such as fried radish and vegetable pie.
