How to feed the hamster?
Hamsters like to eat melon seeds, especially sunflower seeds, but they can't eat melon seeds every day. They should eat more staple foods, especially water.

Hamsters like to eat sunflower seeds, but sunflower seeds are high in fat. Eating too much sunflower seeds can cause obesity, partial eclipse and malnutrition. Therefore, sunflower seeds can only be used as snacks, or as a non-necessity to enhance feelings. Don't feed too much, just one or two at a time. However, if it is in winter, more hamsters can be given more calories to spend the cold winter.

3, hamsters can't drink water, if you want to drink water, you must boil it! Absolutely clean.

Hamsters mainly eat plant seeds, tender stems and leaves, fruits, and occasionally eat insects. In addition, some species are omnivorous and can eat vertebrates such as frogs.

Feeding hamsters

1. Cage: After the hamster buys home, prepare a cage for it first. Because hamsters are smaller, they don't need a big cage, just about 30 cm.

2, food basin: ordinary small containers can be, as long as it is not easy to knock over, the edge should not be too high, otherwise the hamster can not climb in. Commonly used containers: glass ashtray, soy sauce tray, various small bowls, microwave oven box, small fresh-keeping box.

3, drinking fountains: drinking fountains are generally designed with stainless steel beads at the front end. Pay attention to test whether there is water leakage when buying. You can't put water in the bowl directly, because hamsters will get wet when drinking water, and they are easy to catch cold and get sick.

4. Toilet: Generally, the plastic box containing cat litter is a relatively simple toilet. It is in line with personal hygiene habits to take out or replace all the caked cat litter every day. Some hamsters can be used, but they are not necessary.

5. Bathroom: Some hamsters bathe in the toilet with cat litter. Although it's unsanitary, it's a hamster's hobby and doesn't need a shower room. But for a clean hamster, the owner should buy it a bathroom, put bath sand on it, and let the hamster roll freely.

6, running wheel: wild hamsters have to run 20 kilometers a day, so exercise is very important for hamsters. Without enough exercise, hamsters will be stressed and bite the cage. At the same time, hamsters are prone to overnutrition and obesity. Therefore, the careful owner should give the hamster a running wheel, pay attention when buying, and choose a seamless running wheel, so that the hamster will not be easily injured.

7. Wood chips: There are many materials to choose from, and most people will choose wood chips because they are clean and easy to buy.

8. Grinding items: Hamster's teeth will continue to grow, so you need to use a grinding bar to grind off the long teeth. Many hamsters grind their teeth in other ways, such as biting cages. Don't worry too much when you don't use the molar stone/grinding rod you provided.

9. Cabin: Cabin is made of ceramics, wood, grass and plastic. Hamsters like these materials very much, because hamsters are animals who love to make holes. If possible, hamsters should be equipped with a hut and can make it by themselves.

The optimum temperature for feeding is 20-28℃;

Hamsters are afraid of heat. In summer, the sawdust in the cage should not be spread too thick, so it should be changed frequently. You can put a small stone to help dissipate heat. It is best not to turn on the air conditioner, because the temperature difference between turning on the air conditioner and turning off the air conditioner will be too great. Hamsters are very sensitive to temperature and easy to catch cold.

Winter: Hamsters placed outdoors will pretend to hibernate because they are too cold. Spread more mats such as sawdust and equip hamsters with wooden or thatched houses to keep warm. Or give hamsters more cotton to make their own nests, or absorbent cotton, preferably natural cotton. The easiest way is to pack the whole cage into a carton, but pay attention to ventilation. Don't make nests for them made of cotton thread. Although it is warm, hamsters will bite off cotton products and get into it to sleep, so some unbroken cotton threads can easily cause hamsters to suffocate.

Pay attention to life and rest:

Don't put hamsters in the sun. This animal likes shade.

Hamsters are accustomed to haunt at night and usually sleep during the day, so try not to disturb hamsters during the day.

It is suggested to give hamsters a place to exercise, and a small wheel can be placed. When it eats too much or wants to exercise, it can exercise for a while and digest food.
