Is it difficult for adults to learn swimming from scratch?
Not difficult. I learned to swim by watching videos online. Adults' cognitive ability and ability to control limbs are definitely better than children's, and self-study is no problem. The hardest thing for beginners to swim is breathing. Grasping the rhythm and timing of breathing is the greatest progress for beginners (especially those who practice swimming for fitness). The movements of arms and legs can be improved while being proficient. There are many videos online, and there is no shortage of information.

Don't stop, you'd better swim every day. I started from August 20 10, and now I have been practicing breaststroke for a whole year (swimming almost every day), and I am slowly practicing crawl. In order to practice swimming, I quit smoking and didn't touch tobacco for a whole year (I smoked three packs of cigarettes in the past two days and actually quit). I haven't had an intravenous drip this year, and my face is very good.

After learning a little, you should stick to a long swim. I can swim five times at a time and 10 times at a time, which slowly prolongs the continuous swimming time. After practicing for a month, I slowly began to lengthen my distance. Two months later, I swam 40 times in the 25-meter swimming pool, which lasted for more than half a year. I think this is very important, it can improve skills and endurance. Moreover, if you swim for a long time, you will feel water, and even if the direction of your palm changes a little, you can feel buoyancy and resistance.

It's fun to learn swimming from scratch, and I feel this progress myself. May you get happiness and health in swimming!
