The Education and Sports Bureau is in charge of education and sports.

1. Work content of the Education and Sports Bureau: Responsible for comprehensively implementing the Party's education and sports policies; Guide and cooperate with all departments, industries and social organizations to actively carry out sports activities and do a good job in education and sports in schools, enterprises, institutions and rural areas; Overall management of education and sports funds.

2. The responsibilities of the Education and Sports Bureau mainly include: undertaking the examination and approval responsibilities delegated by the Provincial Department of Education; Strengthen basic education; Vigorously develop vocational education; Strengthen sports public service, promote the construction of diversified sports service system and promote national fitness; Strengthen the guidance and promotion of youth sports; Strengthen the guidance and development of preschool education.

3. To guide moral education, sports health art education and national defense education in schools of all levels and types; Guide the work of the education association.

The responsibilities of the Education and Sports Bureau include but are not limited to the following aspects.

1. Education legislation and policies: The Education and Sports Bureau is responsible for providing advice to the government on education legislation and providing support and suggestions for formulating local education policies.

3. Financial management: The Education and Sports Bureau is responsible for the management of education funds, including the preparation, implementation and supervision of the education budget, to ensure the rational distribution of educational resources.

4. Talent Training and Management: The Education and Sports Bureau is responsible for planning and managing the training of local education talents, including teacher training and professional title evaluation.

5. School management: The Education and Sports Bureau supervises and evaluates all local schools to ensure that schools carry out education, teaching and management activities in accordance with laws and regulations.

6. Examination enrollment: The Education and Sports Bureau is responsible for organizing and supervising the enrollment of local examinations, including the college entrance examination, the senior high school entrance examination and the promotion from primary school to junior high school.
