Wuxi Sports Center is located in Lihu New Town, No.0/500, West Avenue of Taihu Lake. It is an important node of the national "Taihu Lake Sports Circle". Wuxi Sports Center, covering an area of about 440,000 square meters, is a modern, multifunctional and comprehensive sports venue. Wuxi Sports Center consists of stadium, gymnasium, national fitness center, exhibition hall, conference service center, swimming and diving hall, tennis hall, central fitness park, shooting and archery hall and comprehensive training hall.

The gymnasium has a construction area of 57,600 square meters, and the main hall can accommodate 7 155 people. The venue can hold 12 international and domestic sports events and large-scale cultural performances such as basketball and table tennis. China Table Tennis Grand Prix, China-Australia Men's Basketball Championship, China International Women's Volleyball Classic, World Snooker Jiangsu Classic, National Gymnastics Championship and World Women's Handball Championship have been held successively.

The National Fitness Center is located on the first and third floors of the gymnasium. There are 73 standard badminton courts and 10 table tennis courts in the fitness center, all of which are covered with plastic floors. The fitness center offers all kinds of table tennis and badminton training classes, which provides organizational planning services for government agencies to organize and plan all kinds of competitions. The fitness center is equipped with three fitness rest areas, which provide sporting goods, drinks and snacks.
