I am a fan of Tai Ji Chuan. I studied Chen Tai Ji Chuan with my teacher Xianglin Li. Later, I came into contact with health qigong. Because I am diligent and persistent in practicing boxing, I am a little savvy and good at learning theory. The teacher told me to learn boxing, practice boxing and teach boxing.

Tai Ji Chuan is profound and profound, which is the treasure of China Wushu. We need to explore its laws with our heart. It requires: both physical and mental cultivation, shape, strength, qi and spirit. However, health qigong also requires: "three tones in one", regulating body, qi and heart.

First of all, we should find the similarities and differences between Tai Ji Chuan and Qigong.

They have one thing in common: standing piles. Both Tai Ji Chuan and Qigong are required; "Maxillary tongue", "virtual collar of maxilla", "holding out the chest and pulling back", "sinking shoulders and dropping elbows" and "loosening the waist and opening the span". The ancients said: "Irregular qi is not smooth, and if qi is not smooth, you will be uneasy, and if you are uneasy, your mind will be scattered." Piling is not only a magic weapon for Tai Chi practitioners to get started, but also a ladder for Qigong practitioners to go to the palace. The role of the above requirements in Tai Ji Chuan is to better coordinate breathing, guide the spirit with appearance, and achieve the martial arts action of being soft on the outside and rigid on the inside.

The purpose of health qigong is to get through the two channels of Ren and Du, and the gas path is smooth. Going to the big and small days will make the essence full, the blood circulation smooth, the resistance enhanced, and the disease will be prevented and prolonged.

The difference is that Tai Ji Chuan said that in the process of boxing, every movement is completed. When you form a formula and then do the next action, the solid foot is solid and the empty foot is empty. This formula is called walking step pile.

Breathing: The ancients said, "Breathe, breathe." Traditional Tai Ji Chuan breathes thin, even, deep and long. The coordination of breathing and movement has certain regularity. Chen's traditional Tai Ji Chuan adopts reverse abdominal breathing, and its main method is to inhale through the nose and breathe through the mouth. To play traditional Tai Ji Chuan, we should gradually learn to consciously adjust our breathing and movements, and constantly experience, master and use them. It is best for health qigong practitioners to combine natural breathing and abdominal breathing and use them alternately. Step by step, gradually reaching the level of slow, fine and long. Eliminate distractions, calm the mood, and make the human body effectively receive the fresh air of nature. Exhale turbid qi and sick qi in the body. Achieve the purpose of expelling the old and absorbing the new, massage the viscera and gastrointestinal tract, promote the generation and development of qi in the body and the operation of blood in the whole body, promote the circulation of qi and blood, dredge the meridians and strengthen the viscera.

Both of them need the air in the abdomen to sink, but their functions are different. Tai Ji Chuan stabilized the footwall by sinking the air in the abdomen to meet the requirements of positional warfare. The purpose of fitness qigong is to achieve better fitness effect.

Relaxation and quietness: Relaxation and quietness are the basic essence and principles of both. Only by truly relaxing and having a peaceful mind can we enter the highest state of indifference and nothingness and the unity of man and nature. And peace of mind is the premise of relaxation. To calm down, wholeheartedly, eliminate all distractions, and lead the work with your heart. Through inner peace, the body is quiet, and inner peace is natural.

The relaxation of Taijiquan is through relaxation, which makes the bones and muscles relax and the whole body naturally soft. With softness from Panasonic, you can get extremely high steel hardness. It also pursues subtle changes in body and spirit through quietness, making it suitable for the requirements of technical movements. Quiet is soft at the beginning, and quiet is extremely fresh.

The relaxation of health qigong is to create a peaceful environment and an epiphany. The main purpose of quietness is to produce wisdom and function.

Meaning: meaning and intention. Tai Ji Chuan's intention of keeping abdomen refers to Tai Chi Kung Fu, that is, sinking into the abdomen, making the upper part empty and the lower part solid, stabilizing the chassis, and requiring the abdomen to turn inside out, thus producing "listening" and "understanding". It's all about heart and kung fu. Through intention, we can achieve "meaning comes and gas goes, gas comes and power goes"

I don't approve of sticking to the abdomen blindly, which makes the abdomen practice very hard. In fact, Tai Ji Chuan's excellent kung fu is to practice his abdomen without leaving any gas. The purpose of health qigong is to eliminate distractions, gather qi and store qi inside. There are three stages: first, the primary stage: opening and closing, gathering and dispersing. Second, the intermediate stage: it seems to be defensive, with or without it. Third, the advanced stage: if you don't keep yourself, God will remain the same. "Interest is anger, anger is blood, and blood is not born."

Both of them pay attention to "Shen Dan Tian", and the practitioners' skills are cultivated to a certain height, so that the so-called "guilty conscience and solid abdomen" are in a quiet state, reaching the state of empty collar, heavy shoulders and elbows, chest holding, loose waist and buttocks, and standing tail, thus relaxing the whole body and mind, and reaching the realm of indifference and emptiness. Where did you come from when you were sick?

To sum up, we can see the similarities and differences between Tai Ji Chuan and Qigong from these four aspects. As a practitioner in Tai Ji Chuan, if conditions permit, I can choose one or two qigong exercises. When I practice boxing every day, I practice one or two qigong to warm up and promote blood circulation. Then practice Chen's traditional Tai Ji Chuan and get good results. Not only did you exercise, but you also got a good qigong effect, which greatly improved your skills. Can be said to be twice the result with half the effort, complement each other.

As the head of Tai Ji Chuan team's boxing practice, he should choose to practice health qigong first, and then Tai Ji Chuan. At present, Tai Ji Chuan exists in three forms:

1. Taiji Kung Fu: It is a martial arts gene with offensive and defensive meanings, with martial arts and pushing hands as its main contents. Taking the theory of Yin and Yang, combined with the way of keeping in good health, constitutes the Kung Fu Tai Ji Chuan.

2. Tai Ji Chuan Competition: In order to meet the needs of Tai Ji Chuan's development and competition, the national martial arts management department has compiled the Tai Ji Chuan competition routine of Chen, Yang, Wu, Wu and Sun and the 42-style Tai Ji Chuan Sword. As a routine, good referee and standardized competition organized by Tai Ji Chuan at home and abroad, it has greatly promoted the development of activities in Tai Ji Chuan.

3. Tai Ji Chuan Movement: With the progress of society, the development of the times and the emergence of high technology, high competition and aging, the function of martial arts in Tai Ji Chuan has declined, and its function of strengthening the body has been paid more and more attention. Its outstanding fitness function has attracted hundreds of millions of people around the world to practice Tai Ji Chuan. According to statistics from relevant departments, more than 200 million people around the world practice Tai Ji Chuan, forming a huge fitness group in Tai Ji Chuan.

With the implementation and development of the national fitness program and the implementation of Tai Ji Chuan's globalization development strategy, the mass Tai Ji Chuan movement has been formed. Tai Ji Chuan is very popular. People who do morning exercises in stadiums, parks and community squares are full of vigor and enthusiasm. Especially since spring, among the 100 people who practice Tai Ji Chuan, only a dozen people remain in autumn.

Why? The survey results are: back pain, leg pain and joint pain. The reason is that there is no order, unscientific exercise, no warm-up activities, no leg press, no warm-up and no qigong. Come to the venue, you can fight for two hours. For middle-aged and elderly people, Tai Ji Chuan is a moderate-intensity exercise. You must take it seriously and practice boxing scientifically in order to achieve a wonderful state.

Therefore, I suggest that as the head of the Tai Ji Chuan team, we should organize two sets of Qigong for about 25 minutes to achieve the warm-up effect, and then practice Tai Ji Chuan. If you have the will, you might as well try it, and it will have an effect in a few years.
