Baisui Mountain is located in the northwest of Wenkeng Reservoir in Zhouxi Village, the eastern suburb of Meicheng, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. Formerly known as Baihuazhai, also known as Baiguzhai, it consists of three hills with increasing height. It belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone and is an important part of Meizhou urban forest.

Baisui Mountain has four peaks from the gate to the top, namely 70 Tianshan Mountains (sunset red), 80 Tianshan Mountains, 90 Tianshan Mountains, Hundred Years Mountain and 1459 steps. Along the way, there are nine palace chain piles, single parallel bars, treadmills, sit-ups, rings, trekking poles, balancers and other sports facilities. Then it pours down more than 400 steps and connects with Jinfeng Highway via Fuguishan. This silver-gray road is like a ribbon floating in the blue sea and blue waves. The public servant pavilion, the peace pavilion and the centenarian pavilion are like three agate rings strung on the ribbon. This is the main road of Baisui Mountain, which is surrounded by Mountain Avenue, Banshan Avenue, Rende Road, Pinghe Road, Yannian Road and Jiuqu Mountain.

Baisui Mountain Park is a popular mountaineering fitness place for citizens. Initiated by Zhu Fafa, a retired geography teacher of Meizhou United Middle School, 1997, in the spirit of "New Gong Yu", a 6-kilometer hiking trail was hoed for citizens to donate money for protection. After more than ten years, it turned the Thorn Ridge into a cement climbing path with 1459 steps, and became a citizen climbing.

With the strong support of Meizhou Municipal Government, Baisui Mountain Mountaineering Association was established. Its establishment will standardize the management of Baisui Mountain in the future.
