What is the experience of really reciting all four volumes of New Concept English?
When I first went to college, it was dull, and my mind was full of chicken soup. One of them is that one of his students memorized the new concepts III and IV and went abroad to recite them to American animals, which moved them to tears (I actually believed them). So I went to the school morning reading office to recite new concepts every morning since I entered school. Freshman recited the third book, sophomore recited the fourth. Then one day two books were put in the library and stolen, so I simply stopped reciting them. The experience is as follows: 1 Pronunciation will be improved. I will read the tape many times before reciting, and often record my pronunciation for proofreading, so my pronunciation is ok now. When I arrived in America, I was praised for my good English and a little British accent. Many people may think it's okay to have an accent in China, but it will become standard after a period of time abroad. However, according to my observation, most China people still have China accent after coming to the United States for a long time, but their language organization ability has improved. It should be noted that the pronunciation here is pronunciation rather than intonation. The intonation of the new concept recording is cadence, which is far from the intonation of normal speech, so although I can completely imitate the intonation of the new concept text, the intonation in daily speech is still not natural.
