An old Chinese doctor who loves fitness.
When I was in Shanghai, my friend and I went to see a doctor in China. I asked, "I always drool when I sleep recently." Is there anything wrong? " The old Chinese doctor said with a smile, "This is more complicated, but if you want to take effect as soon as possible, you only need to eat a preserved egg before going to bed, and you can't drool the next day. This is a secret recipe and is not suitable for children. You can try it. "

I was skeptical, but one week, I woke up every morning and my pillow was covered with saliva, sticky and smelly. It's really annoying I immediately went back and bought preserved eggs.

In fact, I personally like preserved eggs, because I like spicy food. If I get angry on purpose, my mouth will swell. My mother asked me to eat some preserved eggs. Later, my husband forbade me to eat more, saying that preserved eggs contained lead, and eating too much was bad for my health, so I ate very little.

I ate one that night and woke up the next day. I really don't drool. My mouth is white when I look in the mirror. This method is simple and easy, so I checked some information about drooling and learned some knowledge about preserved eggs.

saliva

Drooling is generally a normal physiological manifestation and does not require treatment.

Abnormal drooling, called salivation or salivation, is common in infancy. A few cases are ulcers or dysfunction of saliva regulation and secretion. Causes of abnormal drooling: oral ulcer, bite, pharyngitis and nervous system diseases.

Drooling is common from 6 months to 3 years old, and most of them are normal. Newborns seldom drool. Because the salivary glands of newborns are underdeveloped, there is little saliva secretion, and saliva secretion increases in 3 ~ 4 months. After 6 months, due to diet changes and nerve stimulation, saliva secretion increased and drooling began. Moreover, the baby's mouth is shallow and will not adjust too much liquid in the mouth, so drooling occurs. With the growth of age, teeth erupt and the depth of mouth increases, and babies gradually learn to swallow too much saliva, and this drooling phenomenon gradually disappears.

I won't record other anomalies here, but I have seen them myself, and the relevant information is online.

Drooling while sleeping may be due to spleen deficiency or sleeping in the wrong position.

Some people suffer from "drooling at night". When they get up in the morning, they always find their pillows wet. This little problem seems to be just a matter of personal habit, which is difficult to correct. Have you ever thought that this is caused by spleen deficiency?

Saliva, also known as oral liquid and saliva, refers to the thinner part of saliva.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that saliva is transformed from temper, which is spread and dispersed, so there is a saying that "the spleen in the liquid is saliva". When the spleen and spleen are full, the "fixation" function of the spleen and the metaplasia of saliva are normal, so saliva can be conducted normally to help swallowing and digestion, but it will not overflow the mouth. However, in the case of spleen deficiency, the "fixation" function of the spleen is abnormal, and saliva cannot be transmitted normally, resulting in the phenomenon of "drooling".

Therefore, if you want to overcome the problem of drooling during sleep, you may wish to consider starting from spleen deficiency and ask a doctor to differentiate symptoms and signs.

Knowing this, I know that my drooling may be due to spleen deficiency. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the five internal organs of the human body correspond to five kinds of body fluids, of which the spleen corresponds to saliva. When the spleen and blood are insufficient, the function is weak, and saliva cannot be controlled, saliva will automatically flow out. If the disease factors such as oral ulcer and facial muscle out of control are excluded, then the total drooling during sleep is mostly caused by spleen deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine.

Preserved eggs, also known as preserved eggs and preserved eggs, are made of duck eggs as the main raw materials, and then mixed with quicklime, yellow lead powder, tea powder, soda ash, plant ash and salt. Preserved eggs are rich in nutrition, not greasy after long-term consumption, and have certain medicinal value.

Pungent, astringent, sweet, salty and cold in nature, entering the stomach meridian; Has the effects of moistening throat, clearing away heat, sobering up, removing large intestine fire, and treating diarrhea. If vinegar is mixed with food, it can clear away heat and diminish inflammation, nourish the heart and replenish the body; Can be used for treating periodontal disease, aphtha, dry throat and thirst.

According to "Biography of Lin Yi", it can "clear away lung heat, sober up, get rid of large intestine fire and treat diarrhea. It is often used to treat sore throat, sore throat, hoarseness and constipation.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that preserved eggs are cool and can cure eye pain, toothache, hypertension, tinnitus and dizziness. Everyone can eat it: fire is the most suitable; Children, people with spleen-yang deficiency, people with cold-dampness diarrhea, patients with cardiovascular diseases and patients with liver and kidney diseases should eat less.

Note: Preserved eggs should not be eaten with eel, turtle, plum and brown sugar. Usage and dosage: Jiang Mo and vinegar should be used to detoxify preserved eggs; Preserved eggs are best eaten after being cooked. Preserved eggs also contain lead, so children should eat less. Not suitable for storage in the refrigerator.

Because preserved eggs are made of duck eggs wrapped in soda ash, lime, salt and lead oxide, duck eggs contain lead, which may cause lead poisoning if eaten frequently. This will lead to insomnia, inattention, anemia, joint pain, mental retardation, brain function and other symptoms. In addition, lead will replace calcium, affect calcium intake, and may also cause calcium deficiency.

Chinese medicine believes that children's bodies are "young yin and young yang" and their metabolism is extremely vigorous. Trace lead in "lead-free" eggs will remain in tissues such as liver, lung, kidney, brain and red blood cells after being absorbed by children, and will also cause calcium loss in bones and teeth. Regular consumption of "lead-free preserved eggs" will cause bone and tooth dysplasia, loss of appetite, gastroenteritis and so on. In children, it will also affect intellectual development.

Choose preserved eggs: look, weigh, shake and take.

One view: look at whether the packaging material is moldy, whether the eggshell is complete, and whether the shell color is normal (the green cylinder color is better).

Second, put the egg in your hand, gently throw it up and throw it several times in a row. If you feel elastic and trembling, the heavier egg is a good egg, otherwise it is a poor egg.

Three shakes: hold both ends of the egg with your thumb and middle finger, shake it up and down in your ear, and hear the sound of water or impact. If you can't hear the sound, it's a good egg.

Photo 4: If most eggs are black or dark brown and a few are yellow or light red, they are high-quality eggs. If most of them are yellow-brown transparent body, they are immature preserved eggs.

Because I have studied moxibustion for several years, I can also use moxibustion for drooling, and I can also use moxibustion at Zusanli and Taibai points.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "the five internal organs are liquid, the spleen is saliva, the mouth is spleen orifices, saliva comes out of the mouth, and saliva is the liquid of the spleen."

If eating disorders, fatigue; Or spleen and stomach weakness caused by long-term illness, retention of water and dampness, and damp-heat of spleen and stomach; Or if the food in the stomach does not drop, the stomach heat will steam up, the spleen deficiency will be abnormal, the internal organs and limbs will not be nourished, the muscle elasticity will be insufficient, it will be easy to relax when sleeping, and the mouth will open to form saliva. In other words, the root cause of drooling during sleep is weakness of the spleen and stomach. Therefore, it is advisable to strengthen the spleen and replenish qi, awaken the spleen and stimulate appetite, and take the point of Sanli Taibai.

Make the patient take a comfortable posture and fully expose the selected acupoints. The operator holds the moxa stick with his thumb, food and middle finger in a pen-like writing way to apply moxibustion, so that the moxa stick forms a 45-degree angle with the local skin of the acupoint, and aims the lighting end of the moxa stick at the acupoint (the distance between the lighting end of the moxa stick and the skin of the acupoint is about one inch). Based on the principle that patients feel local warmth of acupoints, and operators see that they are red but not burning, moxibustion sticks are placed in Zusanli respectively. Moxibustion on Zusanli until the warm feeling reaches the foot along the outer edge of tibia; Taibai moxibustion induces warmth along the red and white edges of the inner foot, passes through the front edge of the inner ankle and conducts along the midline of the inner leg as far as possible. Moxibustion at left and right acupoints alternately, once a day/kloc-0, 20 times as a course of treatment.

Zusanli is one of the main acupoints of the stomach meridian of Foot Yangming, which has the functions of regulating the upper, middle and lower triple energizer, regulating the immune function of the body, enhancing the disease resistance, regulating the spleen and stomach, invigorating the middle energizer, dredging the meridians, expelling wind and removing dampness, and strengthening the body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors. Taibai point is an important point to strengthen spleen and tonify middle energizer, which can treat spleen deficiency syndrome caused by various reasons. After mild moxibustion at Zusanli and Taibai points, moxa sticks have the functions of invigorating the middle energizer, invigorating the spleen and regulating the stomach. As long as you insist on moxibustion, the phenomenon of drooling during sleep will gradually disappear.

Zusanli, anterolateral of the calf, 3 inches under the nose of the calf, and a horizontal finger (middle finger) from the front edge of the tibia.

Taibai, borrowing the name of the cave, published "Lingshu Benbo". It belongs to the spleen meridian of foot Taiyin. Input (soil) and origin. On the medial edge of the foot, it is located in the depression between the red and white muscles behind the big toe joint (No.65438 +0 metatarsophalangeal joint).

Note: Before moxibustion, you must first understand relevant knowledge and precautions. It is best to use high-quality Ai Chenrong for three to five years. Fresh wormwood is dry and not suitable for moxibustion. Don't moxibustion for an hour and a half before and after meals. During moxibustion, you can drink warm water to avoid catching a cold, circulate air and avoid blowing, go out immediately after moxibustion, and avoid taking a bath immediately.

Finally, both methods are effective, but it is more important to keep some good habits:

1. Don't sleep on the table or leaning on the chair, it's easier to drool, so adjust to the correct sleeping position, lie flat on the bed, or sleep slightly to the right;

It is best not to eat before going to bed. Brush your teeth or rinse your mouth at the same time, and clean your mouth with tools such as thread pressing. It is recommended to rinse your mouth with mouthwash for one or two minutes after brushing your teeth at night to ensure that there is no sweet and salty taste in your mouth.

This time, I spent some time summing up some little knowledge in my life. The more you know about life, the more useful you will be to yourself.

Four nights cleaning combined with my own experience, the original picture and part of the text are selected from the network, thank you!
