In 2002, Jixi Leisure Plaza was a key project in the strategy of "highlighting one main line, building four major patterns, strengthening five guarantees and building a green eco-tourism city". The whole square is adapted to local conditions, with novel design, perfect conception and ingenious grandeur. The square covers an area of 323,000 square meters, with a sunken design layout and consists of 22 buildings. Especially when night falls, thousands of lanterns are in full swing, the beautiful songs and the beautiful scenery of the square set each other off, and the jumping notes echo the flashing lights, one after another, like a dream, making tourists linger. Leisure enters the comprehensive central square located on the south bank of Muling River at the junction of the new and old North Ring Road, which integrates cultural leisure, fitness and entertainment, human landscape and green ecology. The central square consists of entrance square, embossed wall square, lawn square, carved wall square and totem pole square. It is the cultural area of the whole square. Covering an area of 4,000 square meters, the embossed wall is the largest sculpture art area in China. The 8 groups 16 reliefs record the 8 stages of Jixi's social development, which are respectively reflected in the customs of Wandashan, Xingkai Lake and Wusuli River in our city and the major historical events since the city was founded.
